Bad Teacher = Bad movie. still have 20 mins of it to watch, but overall not a good movie. Would be so pissed to have gone to the theater and paid for that POS
I like Jason Segel, I HATE Cameron “I resemble an alcoholic bag lady” Diaz

I’m ambivalent towards Justin Timberlake

Horrible Bosses was good. If you’re tired of raunchy, man boy comedies (Will Ferrell, Hangover), then you’ll like this movie. The three main characters are all likable and I had some good laughs, even though I’m a Will Ferrell kind of guy.

Motherfucker Jones.

I’ve had it for about a year.

One of the greater movies made in my opinion in the sci-fi genre.

I would only put things like Aliens or maybe Poltergeist (the first one) above it…MAYBE.

In fact, fuck that. Aliens is all that may beat it.
Came in the mail last night. Tonight it is on like donkey kong. Picture of my happiness.

Alright, so I’ve got all of the following movies lined up in my Netflix thing. Have any of you guys seen any of these and were just blown away by how good they were? If so, which ones in this list are the real heavyweights, the quill?

The Man Who Knew Too Much?
Following
Restrepo
The Baader Meinhof Complex
The Fighter
The Basketball Diaries
Red Road
I’m Still Here
Killer’s Kiss
The Boston Strangler
5 Steps to Danger
The Battle of Algiers
Rampage
Cul-de-Sac
The Thin Blue Line
Man With the Golden Arm

Thanks in advance. That’s not the name of a movie, that’s me thanking you guys. Okay, thanks.

^^the fighter is good.

Ive seen restrepo and the fighter. Restrepo was good, its on streaming though so you dont have to wait to get it in the mail. For all i know all of those are streaming and youre just asking for which order to watch them in. the fighter was a lot better than i expected it to be.

Got Hall Pass from Netflix and laughed maybe once or twice. I do not recommend.

x2

Wahlberg is a great actor, IMO.

Another one to check out. Great movie.

Films I’ve seen so far this week,

The defiant ones, with Tony Curtis and Sidney Poitier

Flame and Citron, great drama about Danish resistance during WW2

The Sunset Limited, you need patience for this. I watched this and I couldn’t help thinking about the religion arguments going on over PWI. Tommy Lee Jones and Samuel L Jackson both shine in this one. Definitely worth seeing.

Cash, with Sean Bean and Chris Hemworth. Starts great but the end seems a bit rushed.

I think I am alone in this but I thought the fighter was pretty mediocre. Maybe it was because I saw it late and everyone I talked to pumped it up. It would have been unwatchable if Bale wasn’t in it. Wahlberg was corny as hell in it and I thought the fight scenes were nothing to write home about.

Finally watched “The Social Network”

Pretty good movie, well acted and a very interesting concept on how they told the story IMO.

Man did Zuks allow is buddy to get fucked over. He did it to himself, but still…

I really like crackbook even less than I did before, lol.

Yea it was nothing special

two funny parts were the fake chow and when they were on the security cam.

Hard to describe this movie without giving too much away… a career driven man’s personal and professional life reach a crisis point as his daughter’s soul is kidnapped and taken for sacrifice in an dream world is about as much as I can say off the top of my head. It follows the emotional roller coaster the man finds himself on as well as the efforts of the good guys trying to rescue the girl’s soul before it’s too late.

It’s an independent flick, I believe, and if you are into fantasy movies this should definitely go on your ‘To Watch’ list. Great visuals, a pretty amazing soundtrack, and cool fight scenes, along with a pretty damn original (as far as I know) storyline, makes this a cool break from the usual Hollywood drivel.

The story could’ve (should’ve) been fleshed out a bit more as it really is an interesting concept. It lags a bit here and there in the middle because of this and is, what I feel, the main drawback to the flick. Can’t really say more since I don’t want to spoil any of it, but it’s type of movie that warrants some discussion after viewing because it leaves the message open to personal interpretation.
I’ve seen this too. Surprisingly good, and well worth the watch. It may feel low budgeted compared to Hollywood flicks, but the fight and parkour choreography is extremely well put together. It’s a nice twisted little tale with a strong emotional ending. Not a bad way to kill a couple hours.

“Running The Sahara”

Excellent documentary of 3 dudes who ran across Africa in 111 days… without a day off.

Interesting… I have a friend who is just finishing his walk across America, so I may check this out.

if you’re still feeling british gangster films try these:
long good friday
snatch
layer cake
lock stock and two smoking barrels

Harry Potter Deathly Hallows 2: pretty good movie. I started losing interest after the 3, even though the others were still decent.
