Matt Kroczaleski, who some of you may remember from dumbell rowing 150 lbs 33 times, does 40 squats in 5 sets one after the other. Some really tough, inspiring lifting.

I knew there’d be a thread abotu this. Beastly.
500x8, 405x8, 315x8, 225x8, 135x8 all in one giant drop set.
Kroc’s a beast and actually it was 175DB for 33 reps not to mention he later upped that to 35 reps [no video].
What I would not give for a monolift where I lift.
A drop set? Quick, someone contact Matt and inform him that he’s overtraining.

You’d think it’d be hard to squat that low with balls that big…

Yeah, something that got me was how he was using rather close stance, very low squats for the drop set.
That set was badass. I was particularly impressed with how low he went on every rep and that he got full extension at the top, when I do that many reps I tend to stop short of lockout so it doesn’t take as long but his way is a lot harder.
They should put that workout on Crossfit and call it the The Kroczaleski
You know you’re big when…
…your chuck bucket has wheels.
