raw warm ups, closish grip worked up to 365 x 5 slowly

loose shirt, 2 board 405 x 3, 445 x 3, 480 x 1, 500 x 1 PR

reverse grip pulldown 5 x 10, last couple sets with 285

dips 5 x 20

laterals 5 sets up to 55s x 8 or 10

hammer curls 70s x 10, 80s x 8, x 6

concentration curls (I know) 2 x 20 w/30

rope downs 3 x 15

did extra accesory work because I have back to back meetings tomorrow, plus the extra recovery day will be needed. the 500 was sloppy, I had a bad hand off so ended up touching high, but straight up muscled it to lock out. Will be shooting for 5 next cycle full range.

my bench coach told me he ran into Mel Hennessy a few years back, works as a security guard in an office park. coach saw his name tag and asked if he was the powerlifter from way back, apparently Mel was tickled pink someone knew him from back then.

Skipped a.m. cardio, which seems to be happening on Tuesdays. Benching heavy after work gets me too tooled up to get to sleep early. Will make up later. Glad I have a rest day, I am going to start paying more attention to recovery as I start pushing the weights a little heavier over the next couple of cycles.

Can’t wait to see what ‘heavier’ in the next cycle is. Cardio is for pussies. Be a real man and die of a heart attack.

long ass day. did a 30 minute walk w/dogs. after eating eating low carb tacos, you know, the super high fiber ones? and drinking a lot of water. felt water and fiber rolling around in my belly every step of the way. tired, good night.

do you ever use the supplement NOexplode?? it gets me really hyped to train but it tears my stomach up. i have to literally run into the gym and then into the bathroom before each training session.

Great for amping up before training. It can give me a little bit of a gag reflex, esp if I have had another source of caffeine that day. But I generally have a real high tolerance to stimulants. Also I think the NO part of the equation is BS. But the cafeine and creatine is all good.

425 + 4 pair chains 2 x 2

close stance gms 3 x 8-10 @ 275

hacks 590 x 6, 400 x 19

ghr ss w/split squat 2 x 12 each

Thanks Kevin. Hitting 425 off a low (13 inch) box plus 100lb of chains felt good. Definitely outside of my usual 45 to 60 % I use for DE work. Felt a sticking point about 3 inches off the box, will have to figure how to address. pchain once again toast.
