Momentum and Inertia

I whole heartedly believe in not working out everyday. Makes me miss the fer all the much more and my gains have been constant.

liking the ferrophile.

that bad day at work looks pretty nasty.

C&J went well. Of course, I’ve been doing this weight for 2 months or more, but the cleans are getting deeper and the jerks more solid. My splits still aren’t right and I’m not pushing under the bar hard enough, but I am getting my elbows down in the rack position. If I can improve one thing it’s a good session. These knock down my presses though. I’ll just have to get used to pressing less weight for a while unless I choose to move them in front of squats again.

Great effort on the front squat and the C&J!

Don’t mind me - I’m all say and no play.

An old fart with no start.

Just a geezer who’s a teaser.

etc,etc.

Nice front squats Tony - depth and all

and those cleans are looking smoother and deeper.

I do so like a tease.

Good videos. I was hoping to try front squats for the first time today, but didn’t get to it. All this front squatting is leading me to lemming.

nice work tony, esp the front squats!

I don’t know which is more impressive, the 280lb front squat or the fact you did it with a clean grip.

Last year I replaced all the windows in my house with that expensive double-pane energy efficient kind, and today, I got a call from the contractor who installed them. He was complaining that the work had been completed a whole year ago and I still hadn’t paid for them. Hellloooo,…just because I’m blonde doesn’t mean that I am automatically stupid. So, I told him just what his fast talking sales guy had told me last year, that in ONE YEAR these windows would pay for themselves! Helllooooo? It’s been a year! I told him. There was only silence at the other end of the line, so I finally just hung up. He never called back. I bet he felt like an idiot.

When I need entertainment, I always come over here. Thanks for the laugh, you blonde you.

As opposed to a crossed arm grip for more stability? I just did front squats the other day for the first time. Didn’t even occur to me to use a crossed arm grip. Or whatever that’s called. What is it called?

The I-Dream-Of-Genie death grip fu.

I Dream of Jeannie was an awesome show. I used to watch it religiously, for the dialogue.

What are the chances that there would be TWO such people on the same forum? I really admired her diction and I melted to hear her say “Master.”".

Admittedly, I had a diametric reaction when Barbara of Eden said “Master”.

I think you two are definitely in the minority. Alot of people don’t have the flexibility (me included) to front squat that way. I tried wrist stretches etc but ended up causing myself all sorts of pains.
