Nice deadlifting bro. I agree, your 455 looked pretty fast to me. Good job.
Nice pulls and the ladies seem to admire your singlet.
Nice and strong Tony. Youre gonna knock 'em dead at the meet
Ms O., Jack, Scottgomez, joe and Wilson, thank you. They sure do look faster than they feel, those dls.

I’m going to use the decline press as a rehab exercise. It gets the muscles way into the armpit and wakes them the hell up.
I never noticed what nice quads you have. Wear the singlet more often ![]()

What a cool decline press. I couldnt even dream of sliding under the bar.

Bigger guys could put blocks under the weights to get them higher off the floor.
I’ve thought of a progression scheme for this as well, going from decline to flat, over time.
do the declines hurt your shoulders at all? they kill mine
nice singlet. if I was a gerl, i’d throw a leg over ya
hell, i might anyways

They don’t, actually. I think largely because the whole shoulder is supported by the floor - unlike on some benches. They kill my lats though.

A more resounding endorsement of my pulchritude, I have not heard.

Down boy.
Watching those decline presses made me a little nervous. Like the risk for injury might be high?

The worst that can happen is I have to dump it back over my head or let it back down onto my stomach and then to the floor. Safer than regular bench unless you have a bad back. And I do, as a matter of fact.
I will stop quetioning Mr. Wendler’s program now. I just popped a 185 Clean and Press @ a bodyweight of 180 in a fatigued state. No more Doubting Albino.
Oh was that a decline bench press?
I thought you were demonstrating how to do the bench press like a new gym member!!

My piss is now officially taken.
Smarty-clown. ![]()
And here I was exclaiming over the new-to-me decline bench at the road gym this weekend when apparently I can old-skool decline any damn time I wanna. Thanks for the idea.
Amazing the similarity in contrasts between your avatar and your deadlift videos -blacks and greys stridently punctured with shockingly white accents…
Do you know the actual time that your division is scheduled to start lifting?

You need to start a log so you can make as good a target as I seem to be.

I hope that did not offend you. If it did, my apologies. My only excuse being I figure a 48 yr old 180 lb man who can deadlift 500 and squat 400 is pretty much invulnerable.
But you’re right, offering up a target is fair play.
