''Modified'' Version of 5/3/1?

Hello everyone, after dabbling with multiple workout schemes over the years, I’ve come to two undeniable conclusions:

1)The time I have for workouts greatly varies from one to another (between 40 mins to as long as I want)

  1. I workout at two different gyms, therefore I don’t always have access to the same equipment.

A bit of background regarding those two points, I have a job that usually allows 1 hour on 1 hour off and I have a gym at work. I usually work 4-5 days a week on average (but sometimes 6-9 in a row, then 5 days off, etc.) and I work evenings, nights, mornings. Basically I have a very irregular schedule, but a gym at work the the time to get a solid 40 minute work out in. I also have a ‘‘home gym’’ with all the equipment you could want (trap bar, GHR, etc.), but that’s 5 minutes away from my actual ‘‘home’’ (it’s at my parent’s).

So there’s 2 possible scenarios, I can either workout at ‘‘home’’ with unlimited time and equipement, or at work with limited time and equipment (but still an olympic BB, chin up/dip station, etc). The thing is, some weeks I’ll be able to get 4 workouts at home, and other weeks 0 or 1, so I can’t really create a ‘‘rigid’’ schedule.

I was wondering if something like this could be viable, and I’m very open to adding/removing things, I’d like people with outside opinions, because I feel like I’m in a bit of a rut.

Day 1: Bench 5/3/1 + ex: DB Rows + Dips
Day 2: Front Squat 5/3/1 + ex: GHR + Split Squats + Core
Day 3: Weighted Chin Ups 5/3/1 + ex: BW Chin Ups + Press + Accessory
Day 4: RDL 5/3/1 + ex: Back Extensions + Goblet Squat + Core

I basically like to have a Squat, Hinge, Upper Push and Upper Pull split into 4 days, I found that’s what worked best for me so far. Right now I just do Push / Pull / Push / Pull. The Pull days consist of Weighted Chins and posterior chain work and the Push days of Bench with Squat work.

I also can never seem to pick between Weighted Dips, Press and Bench as the main Pressing movement, anyone who has experience with one over the other would be greatly welcomed.
