Squat first attempt nice and easy 210

Seriously you’re my favorite superheroine EVER!!! Loved watching you throw heavy shit around all day!
Oh and I decided. You were summoned. :slight_smile:

2nd attempt 237 nice and easy

3rd attempt on squat… 237 felt easy so I went for 259 and my chest dropped and I missed it! Afterward a judge came up and said, “honey, your legs were strong enough you just dropped your chest and lost it!” so… assuming he was right, I need to learn to keep my chest up and drive through when it gets heavy!

Ah so close!

2nd deadlift attempt 325 nice and easy! (didn’t get the first on tape that I know of)

Deadlift 3rd attempt 341 nice and easy! =D Not the greatest form… but oh well! Guess I have a lot more in me! =D

I love the victory yell at the end. Made me smile. That’s exciting stuff.

Well Done - awesome lifts.
341 did look very easy…Bring on 400lb i say :slight_smile:

Damo - I feel the same way! I KNOW I have at least another 30 lbs in me right now… hopefully by August I could be even closer to the 400 lb mark! =D

CBear - that would be so awesome! Yes, it’s very important to find things to keep you busy when you are in class! =D Sorry I have been MIA today… made a MASSIVE to-do list and have spent all day running around trying to cross things off… =D

Myjenny - thanks for following along! And thank you for the compliment! Honestly, some of the lifts felt easy (even the ones I missed)… I have learned how to strain a little bit over the last several months… but I think once I get better at it, and become more comfortable under heavy weight in general, I will learn how to “push through” better… =D

Loved the videos…especially the hot pink shirt! I know you just got done, but any plans on competing again?

UCD - thanks! Yeah the pink shirts were cute! We even had a little rhinestone skull and crossbones on the front! =D Yeah we are looking at a meet in August… so we will see how prep for that goes! =D

KMC - yeah that was what was so fun about it! Especially because we ended on deadlift and EVERYONE got their third attempt and EVERYONE hit a PR! It was so cool… we were all thrilled at the end of the meet which was cool! All very proud of ourselves and each other! =D

Molly, I love the videos. Your final dl looked like you had a lot more to give. DL is my favourite too and it’s like pure fucking adrenaline at the end of the meet.

Ouro - thanks! Yeah looking back it looked easy and it felt easy too! But it’s good to know that I can do more at the next meet! Plus I swear the plates helped… they didn’t look so intimidating, you know? We always use the huge rubber plates at our gym to deadlift and putting 3 on each side plus some more plates just looks terrifying-ly heavy! Guess I’ll have to get used to it! =D

SB - you didn’t even know you missed me until you had me in your life, huh? =D I know… it does feel like forever! Maybe we can walk tomorrow night or something? How are you enjoying your week off?
