Bodyweight press for reps, pretty happy about that. DB Rear delts felt really good and I think it’s because I tired out my traps with the pressing beforehand, so the rear delts would take over.

Didn’t feel too hot overall, but got a pr anyways. Got some work done then went home; I’ll do more another day. My knees have been hurting lately, for no reason I can ascertain. The rehbands make them feel fine to squat, its more like walking around pain.
You could try walking around with your rehbands or squatting everywhere you go or try some sort of rolling to get rid of knots in your quadz.

Pretty happy with today considering I was driving for most of the day prior to lifting and had very little food in me. Good dip pr. I’ve come to the conclusion that military pressing is mostly a tricep exercise for me, and it seems to be improving accordingly. Shrugs were very strict at the beginning, and slightly loose towards the end. Need to improve my upper back strength.
My triceps seem to get worked more when I military press, but strong triceps are never a bad thing.

Gay day, but I need to be kinda fresh for tomorrow. I’m doing a 6mile ruck at 0530 with some fellow cadets. Think I’m going to use about 65-70lbs, so it shouldn’t be too bad. Talked a lot with another lifter today about training and possibly doing the same meet in August. If we do it, we’re planning on sweeping both the 181 and 198 class for the Clemson Weight Club.

I read before that someone got their best bench gains from just benching/CG benching and doing nothing else. So I sorta stopped doing extra triceps stuff, which I think was a dumb idea.

Did a 6mile ruck this morning in about 78 minutes. My ruck was about 60lbs. Didn’t really try that hard and took 5 minutes to poop in the woods halfway through.

Pretty good day. Everything’s kinda beat up from the ruck yesterday, but I’m in better shape than I would have expected. Cheap pr on the dips, but definitely room for easy improvement. I start work tomorrow, so we’ll see how much that affects my training(boo 10 hours of manual labor). Also taking a stab at this whole carb backloading thing since it fits my schedule pretty well. If you do CBL and have some tips, holla at your boy.
