I just realized I kinda did a lot of volume today. Everything feels pretty good and strong, even after squatting heavy yesterday. My programming, (working title Tard-Strength), is working.

Going to start writing more of my feelings about my workouts here because I’m a gay fish.

Pretty good in the sense that I did exactly what I set out to do. I do believe I’m turning into a bit of a volume whore, but it just feels good since I have no other obligations currently. My desire to train as much may diminish once manual labor starts. I’m definitely good for 11 or 12 x100 on db bench when I’m fresh, so I may do that next time. I need to read about more ways to train my rear delts because I have a hard time feeling them and I think my traps take over a lot of the movements. On the opposite note, I can instantly feel my chest doing anything. I don’t know where that MMC came from, but it might be all the pushups from ROTC.

It was graduation today, so I had to walk about 1.5 miles to the gym. Got me nice and warm. Got my rehbands today and I love them. I think they kept my knees too warm, but that’s just because I’m not used to them. I tried to get a vid of the squat pr, but the camera fell over before the first rep. This might be the first time I’ve ever done unilateral work and I literally have no balance. Like I think my inner ear doesn’t exist. The weight wasn’t hard at all, but I have trouble doing a split squat without falling over. It got better as I kept going, but I’m going to work on this and hopefully see some improvements in my squat.

Had to train in FIKE today, so the bench kinda sucked. Didn’t really try that hard and still got a PR. Dips were fun. It’s nice to see my pressing strength actually increasing. I weighed myself and I’m about 187.5-188lbs after I wake up and make da poo poo. I’m happy with where my weight is at. I’m getting stronger and leaner(I think), while staying around where I want to.

At home this week for the dentist and Mother’s Day. Didn’t go completely all out on my top sets due to lack of spotter/shitty bar. Didn’t ask the only other dude in there for a spot because he was creeping on me hard. Like straight-up “you’ve got a pretty mouth boy.” Really happy with the deadlift pr and like I said, I’m def good for more reps.
