Somewhat loose form, pretty upright bb rows. Kinda a mixture between a shrug and a bent over row. Most people say they don’t do anything and look like I’m just throwing weight around, but they help my deadlift. I can train the muscles I use to deadlift, without taxing my lower back too much so I can do them more often.
Sounds like a win-win situation. Working your DLing muscles without as much lower back fatigue.
Yeah, it really hits my traps, but then again, any back exercise does. My traps overpower the rest of my upper body, so they come into play on everything.

Close Stance Hack Squat 10x275 PR
Paused CG Flat BB Bench 3x205, 1x225 PR
DB Rear Delt

My quads are pretty weak, so the close stance hacks should help with that. They were deep as hell too with a little bit of a pause. That variation of bench is probably my weakest because my triceps suck and I’m a bitch at pausing, but all the reps flew up today. Starting off slow to end up fast.

damn dude i just looked at some of the beginning of this log and where you are now, you are strong as hell! i can’t believe you’ve been training seriously since like january 2010 and you can deadlift 550 thats insane, congrats! i’ll be following your log. also i found that one super old post about ur pants breaking while squatting pretty funny because i once had my boxers rip while squatting lol.

Nice tuggin in here

Thanks, but there’s a lot more deserving posters on here. I wish I was strong as hell, maybe in a couple of years. You must have done some serious digging cause that’s an old post haha. Thanks for the compliments, hopefully I’ll be more deserving soon.

Even though most of the guys in that 600 deadlift race have about 20-30 pounds on me, I don’t plan on losing easily.

DL machine!

Thanks man. I’m too dumb to do much else. Maybe someday someone will write me a fancy program.

Thanks bud. Running sucks and it doesn’t make me as aesthetic as you.
