Haven’t squatted well in a while, and these all felt comfortable. Not a pr, but felt easy and smooth.

BB Flat Bench 1x275, 8x225
MP 1x155, 7x135
Pushups

Bench was easy. 275 flew up. MP was tough, since I haven’t done them standing in a while. It will improve quickly.

Are you doing a planned progression program or just working up to a top set? Why didn’t you go for more if 275 flew up? (that’s why I asked)

Because the gains aren’t coming from the 275. They’re coming from the set after. No need to kill myself on the stuff that isn’t going to be better in the long term. Plus, next time, I’ll just hit a heavier single.

CG Pulldown

School’s been in session for 2 days now, and I can already tell this is going to be a hella hard semester. I had to do an extra long detail for gear issuance today, so that drained me. At least I got some points with cadre for being a boss. Going for 555 was stupid, but I almost had it. It came off the floor quick, then died at my knees. I’ll be good for it very soon. Also, eating has been really difficult, and I’m down to 184-185 now. I fully expect this to drop even more. I may post the video of the miss at 555 if anyone wants to see.

The better question is who wouldn’t want to see you lift?

I feel you on this sem being hard. While classes aren’t particularly hard, it is draining. Especially when eating becomes more difficult. Just gotta keep trucking.

x2 on this. We all feel each others pain! But its just more satisfying when we dominate training and in the classroom!

Fine, here you go. Sorry about the language. Missing this released all the stress of the past couple of days.

Felt pretty good. Got back into the tradition of eating at Golden Corral on Friday nights. Only 7 steaks last night, need to step my game up.

Thanks bud. Most people tell me my main problem is not being able to chill

You missed it because you started with your shoulders over the bar and pulled up instead of back. I suspect that the large amount of fat that you carry on the front of your body is to blame.

That video was way too long for a missed single. Two words. Video Editing.

I had something else to say but I’m old and forgot while I was staring at the video of the empty dungeon for 3 minutes before you actually attempted the pull.

that video was awesome! I love how you can hear you punching/throwing things lol. I feel like that at the gym sometimes. You’ll get that soon enough.

You’re gym looks bad ass. I wish my gym had those “boxes”… Keep posting the vids man.

Can’t run, so I’m definitely going to be put on profile. Did this workout at about 0630 to free up the rest of my day. Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great. Changed up my schedule, gave myself an 0800 class because I’m weird and like waking up early.

I don’t like acting like that. It’s not fitting of my position and attitude and I do my best to not act that way, but last week was hectic as hell. I now have a personal vendetta against the Clemson Postal service.

The gym is the home of the Clemson Weight Club and is named The Dungeon. It’s underneath the regular student recreation facility. Oh, and almost none of the boxes are even, so doing box jumps are scary as hell.
