MLB 2011 Part Two

This is awesome…

1 more out to go.

So much for that Red Sox and Phillies World Series.

This is so awesome

Somewhere SP having a really bad Friday night.

I really had bought into the hype that was the Phils this year, really shocked to see them out in the 1st round…

Looks like Howard is injured and probably out for the rest of the season. Oh wait. LOL

Who is SP?

The three highest payrolls in baseball all fail to make it to the championship series this year. That is awesome.

I’d love a Brewers/Tigers series. One of those two cities deserve a title. The thrill of a win goes much further for a city that’s a new champion (example, San Francisco), as opposed to a city that’s won recently (New York, Boston, etc.).

The networks might not be happy with the ratings, but a win for one of those two cities will infuse the team and the fans for years to come.

It actually looks like he might have torn his Achilles tendon He’s scheduled to undergo an MRI on Saturday, but could miss part of the 2012 season. Coincidentally, next season is the first year of his five-year, $125 million contract extension…

I honestly don’t know why no one is talking about the Brewers coming into the postseason. Insane 1-2 punch with Fielder/Braun and 3 SPs who are all good enough to get real hot. Back end of the bullpen is usually solid (game 5 notwithstanding)

Brewers were the smart money bet at the half way point of the season. Still 12-1 to win the WS at that point.

Because everyone just assumed the Phillies would trample the rest of the NL. That’s going to change.

Wow! I mean wow! Yankees and Phils are out. Who’d a thunk it?

Sounds good to me. Now Philly gets to taste what we Braves fans went through year after year. Dominant regular season, out in the first round of the play-offs. Let’s see how full their stadium is after they do that same thing 5-6 years in a row. Then you know our pain.

Our year end choke was kind of a blessing in disguise. Our offense hasn’t clicked at all all year. We depended on the long ball more than anybody, except we don’t have many HR hitters. We could never get to a good pitcher this year. I am afraid it would have been 3 and out if we did make it, but labelled as a success just because we made it. It may have woken our franchise up a bit. I hear talk from the brass I have never heard before.

My money is a Card’s and Texas series, both teams seem to be peaking right now. Anything can happen. Lord knows I have been plenty wrong thus far.

I am so happy they lost… I have sen philly fans all year pop in to local forums and shit basically going “Na na na, boo boo!”. Now they can sulk too. He he.

This rangers tigers game if fuckin intense. Two awesome bullpens duking it out and two offenses that casn’t get the big hit.

Disappointed in Detroit, hopefully not a short series

Hilarious watching Nyjer Morgan play CF tonight.

lolz

Well, it’s close to being official according to this article:

I’ve decided I’ma start spamming this thread when I’m watching games like I did the NBA playoffs.

Cabrera just hit a home run that landed in fucking Lake Michigan. Holy wow.
