only 6 years and $143 million left on A-Rod’s contract.
So anyone picking the Cards over the Phils 2mr?

Id pay more money to see Valverde blow a save then the tigers come back to win than I would to see the yankees win the world series going 9-0 from this point foward.
Guy is a clown. Obv it was benign smack talk and not disrespectful at all. But the guy is on the field less than almost anyone. No place to talk. [/quote]
Looks like he, and the rest of the Tigers, backed up his words.
Glad to see Detroit, and the MVP Verlander, advance.
THANK YOU DETROIT! I hate the Yankees. I am happy every time they lose.

Nope. The Phils are stacked up an down. The Cards are a good veteran team, but the Phils are just better. I appreciate how hard fought this series is though. But baseball is a fickle beast, everyday is a chance at an upset.
Who’s up for a Brewers-Tigers WS??
Not the MLB front office

I could see the casual fan not tuning in for that, but I think anyone who follows baseball would welcome it. Both WC7 (I think?) and I mentioned the Brewers as a team we would like to see succeed. They gambled heavily this year with their farm, are on the cusp of losing one of their best players in the offseason, and basically put all their eggs in one basket for this season. So far it’s worked, I think this is their first playoff appearance since 1982 or something like that.

LOL!
My money is on Texas - Phils. Texas wins in 7.

All my Yankees/Phillies fan friends made a bet based on which team would go further in the world series. Just to be a dick I took the Brewers by myself and they all gotta do it if the Brewers outlast both teams.

Oooo, go Brewers then. I love it when Yankees fans are upset!
Actually, as far as fans go they aren’t that bad. The worst are Cubs fans. I hope they go another 103 years before they even see another play off game.

We discussed this, and the general consensus was Red Sox fans.

This is what I want to see. I wanted to see it last year and see Lee win vs his former team, now I wat to see it to watch Lee lose to his former team lol
Awesome Brewers dbacks game, this postseason is delivering so far
edit-Dont really care for the analysts so far exept for Smoltz, hes been spot on
The brewers have some of the most unprofessional players on their team, really annoying

Okay, but the absolute best part was when that dumb bitch reporter put a microphone in Nyger Morgan’s face while he’s yelling “FUCK YEAH!” over and over… Dumb ass didn’t see that coming? Those are the only words he spoke since getting that hit…LOL!
Oh yeah I laughed at that you could see him mouthing it three or four times before she put the mike on him. After “T-Plush” got that hit I had to keep watching knowing he was gonna do some crazy shit. But how hard is it to answer a few softball questions after the game? Prince Fielder was “oh my god, oh my god i cant talk” like a thirteen year old girl that just saw justin beiber
BC: You Should be happy with the Dbacks performance this year. I doubt anyone expected them to do anything this year.
Now lets all hope that this 1-0 lead for Cardinals holds up.
Debating whether I should go to the NLCS in Detroit next week, it’s only 4 hours away. Really gotta cherish these last two weeks, will have nothing to watch until April with the NBA cancelled =(

I’ve been immersed in both, I gotta go for the Cubs fan for being worse. The sox fans are annoying in their volume and everybody trying to talk in a mock New England accent, but the Cubs fans will throw shit and start fights if their team is on a roll and you aren’t on board 100%. Cubs fans are meaner.
Hell look what they did to that poor Bartman kid. I believe 100% if security hadn’t intervened that night, he would have been murdered. I am sure of it.
The Bartman curse is stronger than the billy goat…It was self imposed.
I wish I made that discussion., I would have enjoyed it.

Yup, gonna go watch it.
I guess I flip between Boise and Cards.

They made the playoffs two or three years ago. But I get your point, and I agree. I think Prince Fielder is a low-class jerk, but so am I so I don’t see any reason to root against his team whether they play the Cards or the Phils. I think in a couple years they’ll be back to being one of those teams that is just good enough to not suck cock all year, kind of like the Blue Jays or the Tigers for most of the last 20 years.
And the Tigers are the other team I’m rooting for. Fuck the Rangers. I’ve never liked Nolan Ryan since he’s arguably the most overrated pitcher of all-time. Plus, the Tigers are one of those really old teams in baseball and I always like seeing those types of teams win (aside from the Yankees and Red Sox), especially when playing against an expansion team.

Yeah I meant pennants.
