It would be so awesome if both Philly and Red Sox do not make the World Series.
But I’m not very confident in Carpenter out pitching Halladay, seems like a real longshot. Basically after Berkman hit that 3 run shot in game 1, Halladay made the rest of the game (minus the 9th) look like fielding practise for the Phillies.

Looks like everything is going to a game 5. I think the home team wins them all. The away team with the best chance to win I’d say is the Cardinals.
I’d be happy with a D-Backs win. They are definitely this years version of the Giants, albeit with a much worse rotation and bullpen.

lol wut? Now he pulls Phil Hughes after what? an inning and a 1/3?
Girardi is already in panic mode down 2 runs in the top of the 4th…
Ya hes got a quick trigger tonight wow
I don’t know why they didn’t just start CC. Pulling all these pitchers quickly doesn’t make any sense.
Supposedly Nova “tightened up” according to Girardi, no idea what that means. I gues hughes tightened up to? haha. It will be intersting if the game goes extras.

Robertson and Rivera can go 4 innings if need be so Girardi doesnt care if he burns through hughes and sabathia.
this really is a weird game. both offenses are dead yet it feels like the game is over because giradi is creating so much unrest and ruining the flow with these moves.
Well you can’t blame the Yankees pitching if they lose. Bases loaded fail in two different innings for the offense. I wouldn’t say it’s over. Didn’t they say Benoit is the 8th inning guy? Are they going to keep him in the 8th? He had a lot of pitches. Or bring in Valverde early?
