MLB 2011 Part Two

Don’t worry, it sounds like they are going to put the blame on Francona and get rid of him. Although they are saying it’s a mutual agreement. I agree with you that is is partially the GM’s part for signing those overrated players. [/quote]

I’d rather Tito stayed and Theo left.

Yeah he lost the lockerroom, but I think it is because of things he HAD to do at times.

That’s bullshit. They didn’t know a big storm cell was coming in with rain? Us fans were screwed out of seeing a great pitching matchup. If they knew a big rain storm was coming, they should have switched the game with the Rangers vs. Rays game.

Yeah I’m not happy

Imagine if you had tickets to the game. Friday night, opening round of the playoffs, probably looking forward to it all day at work, get a few drinks in you…

Then you get soaking wet and they tell you to come back at 8AM the next morning. Ha.

FUCK OFF.

It rained last night and only I got to see 1 1/2 inning at Yankee Stadium last night. Soaked like a bitch, wandering around Manhattan in the fucking rain, what a shitty fucking night in NYC.

Lets hope it’s not so horrible today in Philly and I get to actually see a game. Pretty annoyed.

Didn’t get to put my predictions in either…

I was going to pick TB before they played since they are the hottest team and rejuvenated from over taking Boston.

Here goes…

TB in 4

Cheering for Tigers but Yanks in 5

Phillies in 3

Brewers in 4

Lets hear your predictions guys…

Just realized it is at 8PM. Still a bust, as displayed by therajraj…

What’s the weather supposed to look like today? What are your plans raj?

I’ll take Tampa, Detroit, Phils, and Brew Crew.

Just remember about that Tampa vs. Texas series last year, the visiting team won every game.

I went to the game in Philly today and even though the sky was cloudy it only started raining after the game ended. It was nice to watch a whole game uninterrupted. My friend and I were pretty out of it from all the traveling in the last couple of days, so we decided to stay in after the game. The fact that it’s cold and rainy helped with that decision as well, currently chilling out right now watching the other games.

As for the Yankees game, StubHub allowed me to repost my tickets, which I did but for $7 less each ticket. Thankfully someone bought them so I only ended up losing only $14 total on the Yankees game. I’m glad I purchased my tickets off Stubhub, because had I not I would’ve been out the total cost of the tickets.

I really am disappointed about the Yankees game, I don’t follow the NL closely and really wanted to see Sabathia and Verlander go at it. However, one thing I did think was really cool was seeing the difference in environments at Yankee Stadium vs Citizen’s Bank Park. The Philly’s game had a more fun-family type atmosphere and people are about having a good time. While at Yankee Stadium, it was more of a down to business type atmosphere, with people taking what they are watching much more seriously, and just more serious overall environment. Probably not the most apt description but that’s the best way I can describe it.

Can’t believe this thread is dead.

You guys suck.

Watching the Tigers-Yankees game. Can’t believe the Tigers catcher just slipped while trying to catch the potential last out of the game!

Also Terry Francona is out.

Alright Texas is through the first round.

End of Game #1 of the NLDS

WTF is up with this idiot Valverde declaring the Tigers-Yankees series is over?

Well I was really expecting TB to ride their season momentum+pitching even if they were the inferior team compared to Texas.

A pretty sad franchise, no one in that city cares if they win or lose, they are basically the modern version of the Montreal Expos in the late 80’s early 90’s.

Can’t see a team being in TB 10 years from now.

Two big games tonight… hoping my Phils move on and the D-backs give the Brewers something to be concerned with.

Pujols is a beast and it’ll be fun watching Oswalt against those big bats.

Id pay more money to see Valverde blow a save then the tigers come back to win than I would to see the yankees win the world series going 9-0 from this point foward.

Guy is a clown. Obv it was benign smack talk and not disrespectful at all. But the guy is on the field less than almost anyone. No place to talk.

I came here looking for some fellow Cards fans but I see my kind aren’t welcome here.

I’ll show myself out.

Looks like everything is going to a game 5. I think the home team wins them all. The away team with the best chance to win I’d say is the Cardinals.
