i feel frustrated almost since i didn’t work quads the last time because they were too sore. I was thinking about doing it this saturday which is one of my days off, that way i won’t miss another leg day. Is that a good idea though?!
I say just forget it happened. If you try to move things around to compensate for every missed day you’ll end up screwing things up. Just hit it hard next time.
Or you could chop off both your legs and not every have to worry about a leg day again.
But on a more serious note. I still to this day dont understand why a bodypart is supposed to be worked on a certain day. If your supposed to do legs next, do them next. Who the hell cares what day of the week it is.

If you miss a workout, just do it next. Not a big deal.

It’s even better really. I purposely rotate my workouts so I hit different bodyparts on my freshest days.
I dont know what happened with my post but i also mentioned that after the leg day that i missed bcuz of soreness i missed another day do to the fact that i got a new job and the schedule got messed up. But whatever that was thursday 29(leg day), ill just follow ur advice and work my legs this saturday instead. I definetly dont want to neglect legs.
Good to hear a beginner (I’m assuming, correct me if I’m wrong) wants to work legs.
I did that just last week due to my gym being closed for Thanksgiving. Just pushed it back, now my days are flipped no biggie.
yeah im a beginer and i actually want strong looking legs…

Glad to hear you’re still at it Damner. ![]()
As far as soreness goes, I believe that I replied to a recent post of yours on that subject, but if not…
If you are still too sore to work legs 7 days after working them, then you really want to check your diet. That really strongly suggests that you’re not getting enough protein/calories to allow for repair and growth.
Also, personally I’ve found that L-Glutamine works wonders in terms of soreness. If you’re really having a tough time with soreness, perhaps try picking some up. It’s worked for decreasing soreness for me in the past.
Keep up the good work.

Quads, hams, and chest are the ones that will stay sore for a while i guess that just means my caloric intake is not enough. But eating 2300 quality calories can be such a daunting tasks sometimes, i mean i sometimes feel like throwing up when im at the 2000 count.
And i guess im gonna have to buy some L-glutamine …not now though since im only working 2ice a week and dont have the money. I personally think whats making the biggest impact on my recovery its lack of continuos sleep thats why i have an appointment w/ my doc on tuesday; i want lunesta.
