Minutemen

Hey, POX, you don’t know anything about these people. How do you know there aren’t some cops on vacation, former Armed Forces personell etc in the mix?
Why are you just assuming bigotted redneck?
What? Because you’re actually racist and bigoted?
Sorry, I forgot.

now that Al “I wear my undies extra big so I can take a dump in them” Shades has shown up, has the thread actually reached South Park without “hippiecommiedouchebag” or whatever it was?
Cause I’m thinkin’ pretty much the death knell of the usefullness of a thread is when Shady shows up.

I agree mostly with Vegita’s 3 points earlier.

1.Immigration is good (even these workers have a place in our economy), but damn our country could use some skilled immigration, I think we’re getting killed by this sector choosing other places to work, research, study, etc.
2. However, illegals are bad and structuring a legal system for them could be of mutual benefit.
3. Landowners have a right to protect themselves

but,
4. I don’t approve of the minutemen(I also don’t care for the name)
and,
5. I don’t ever want to find myself on Rainjack’s property in a drunken stupor in the middle of the night.

100meters…WTF is wrong with you today?
You’ve suddenly started making sense and stuff…
Except for #4, I agree with everything you said.
Scary, ain’t it.

You know he may have saw that picture of Ann Coulter today on Time Magazine’s cover. Could be the motivator to jump ship!

Hey now we have hot chicks too

Mann Coulter? Hot? uhggg…wtf Carbolin 19 article gotta go.

still almost perfect. I mean…I like Ann, she cracks me up, and I’d hit it…just because…but I don’t know how hot she is. Now Laura Ingraham…she’s hot.

I would definitely hit Laura before Coulter, I would never hit it with Coulter, NEVER! She looks like she’s taken more Alpha Male than me!

Laura and Coulter???

I think the left may even support that!

Hedo,
look at the above picture and please reconsider! You don’t want to hit that, cause it’ll probably hit back!

Well you know…maybe from behind.

Bigotted Redneck? I don’t know anything about the character of these individuals and haven’t called them any names at all. I said they are untrained and that I don’t trust them. The simple fact that you have to resort to tactics like that shows that you may be the one with the bias. No where in this thread have I written anything like that. Also, much of what I do know about them comes from the television crew that followed a group of them around for a couple of days (because there was one incident where they were being accused of degrading one immigrant when this turned out to not be the case…they fed him and gave him a tee-shirt) and spoke with one of the men who is supposed to be leading the group. He is not ex-military or ex-police. He was well spoken and seemed to have no ill intent. That doesn’t mean that none of the others do and I question just how controled this “team” is. The only ones throwing around racial slurs have been you, Cream and Rainjack. You might want to fix that.

How about - “untrained”, “unemployed”, “Pickup-driving”, or

“Don’t these people have jobs? How many doctors, lawyers, or nurses would sit in a truck at the border looking for runaways from Mexico? I think this has the potential to draw out people with less than appropriate agendas. For some reason, you trust these people. I really have to wonder why.”

But your not an opinionated bigot - not at all…in fact you consider this “intelligent”. The KKK must be a bunch of freakin geniuses - but not as intelligent as you, Prof.

Just trying to clarify your statement.
Excellent point. The “pros” are not getting it done. Not the fault of the agents but a result of typical bureacracy and official policy.

The Minutemen are making their point, but this is not a long term solution.

So far I have no problem with the way the Minutemen have handled themselves.

I think they have a few engineers. Als a lot of retired cops and firemen. The majority are veterans and a lot are from AZ and TX. I saw an interview with the founder as well as some younger guys who are vets from Iraq that are doing this before they start a job search.

I don’t think these guys are the trouble makers. The Border Patrol union endorsed them and said they appreciate the help.

Really hope this works and it draws even more attention to the problem.

I am very opinionated, but calling me bigoted for saying they are not professionally trained is your attempt to make up for comments you have made in this thread. Asking how they have the time for this is not bigoted and I dare you to show otherwise. Again, you and your friends are the only ones throwing out racial slurs. Nothing I have written amounts to calling them a red neck.

There is no doubt that the one thing this has done is draw attention to the situation. I seriously doubt that it will lead to any real changes in border patrols, however.

I have nothing to apologize for in this thread - I’ve made no attempts to do so. It is not my offense that you have comprehension trouble.

You seem to be the resident expert on racism wrt blacks. You know what it is, you can sense it. As can I when it is directed at ‘my people’ whom you don’t understand.

You are racist against white, rural uneducated, unemployed vigilantes. At least those are the assumptions you have made of the ranchers, businessmen, accountants, doctors, and lawyers that have the misfortune of living in an area where the gov’t refuses to enforce the border.

You aren’t nearly as ‘intelligent’ as you fashioned yourself to be. How smart does one need to be to protect his home? His community?

You’ve prejudged these people as being something and you know nothing about them. Prejudge - prejudice. Tell me where I’m off, here.
rainjack wrote:

I have done that several times over. You have shown that regardless of how many times I type it, you are blind to what is being said. That makes further typing a waste of my time.

You asked, “How smart does one need to be to protect his home? His community?”…This coming after I have stated at least 6 times in this thread that I have nothing against someone protecting their own property. You hear what you want to hear. Case closed.

POX WROTE:

“The Joe Weider clone is a distractionary tool of the conservatives on this forum. There may not be any substance, but he will make damn sure that you are aware of everything he does not have to offer. Then again, at least he is far removed from screaming, “What are the alternatives!!!” so maybe there is hope afterall.”

WELL!!!

I’m sorry I’ve been away.

It seems POX has been up to his usual sniping, carping, “scary” tactics.

First of all, I must applaud my brethren Cream/Rainjack/Joe Weider for their unabashed pentration of my friend POX!!!

POX, are you sore?

POX, WHAT ARE THE ALTERNATIVES!!!

Wait, I’m the alternative to POX!!!

Anyway, I must tell you that I’ve taken your avatar and used it as the backdrop on my computer. You’ll be surprised to learn that I find your physique humorous.

Funny, I agree with Cream on this one. Louis Cyr IS the white version of POX!!!

EVERYONE CHECK OUT THIS LINK:

http://cgi.sandowplus.co.uk/Competition/Cyr/gallery.htm

Tell me this isn’t the white version of POX!!!

In summary, I am a big fan of POX. He dishes out his racism pure and unalloyed. Please don’t scare him away.

Imagine a room filled with POX, al shades, nopal de ding dong. POX would sit in the corner mumbling “I’m not going to talk to you, white man.”

Al would say, we should break up this “little, informal meeting. Since my dad and mom left, I don’t believe in formal meetings.”

Nopal would say, “Repress all!! Everyone is exactly the same!!! Except, I’m the leader, comrades!!!”

I’m having a ball!!!

Hey, guys: do you mind if I send this whole thread to my buddy Bill Maher? He wanted to have a whole show next Friday about his claim from the other night on Jay Leno that Republicans are a bunch of angry cavemen, and I thought he had plenty of material here to help him out in his argument…

I mean, Republicans are doing such a bang-up job of looking bad lately (even our dear Governator keeps shooting himself on his foot) and putting off all the civilized, moderate conservatives (like our friend BB) that the only thing Dems need to do these days to guarantee a landslide victory in 2008 is just be quiet, sit back and watch the “angry cavemen show”. After all, people will take even elitist, pompous windbags over angry cavemen any day.

Hey, that’d be a good title for a Fox News program: “The Angry Cavemen Show”! I’ll e-mail Bill O’Reilly right away.

The title of the first show should be: “Go ahead: make my point!”

hspder,
Shhhh, they think they’re being funny and witty.

Bill Maher? He’s still on TV? Where? Is his new show like his old one where he invites four liberals and a diminutive conservative on and sneers and makes snide comments? I thought he got fired for insulting the military and having terrible ratings. Please tell me where his show is so I can not watch it.

Anyways, Bill Maher would be the last guy on earth to have anything to do with a site celebrating Testosterone.

No they are frustrated with all the dodging and twisting you’re doing. Which besides the straw man love orgy you have going on is the second most annoying posting principle you hold to. I ask you 3 or 4 simple questions and then even answer it for you and you go off on a tangent and never adress what my points were. This is why some of us give up and just rely on sarcasm and satire because it is more fun than debating you, which is like trying to grab ahold of a slimy skinned eel.

I won’t even go as far as calling you a racist Prof X cause I don’t believe it to be the case, but you may be something far worse, elitist, which means you think you are better than everyone else, at basically eveything. I would love to hear sometime where this fountain of knowledge you fell into is so I can go sip of it too.

Dammit Al will you start new threads of your own? It’s too much of a pain to track you down in the middle of these POX love-fests, I need you concentrated on your own threads. Since you’re always right you should take precedence over all others, just post any replies that you have in their own threads.

Ya know Al, I can’t think of the last time we charged a Border Patrol officer with the task of saving Health Care. But you’re right. Those dang border cops are really screwing up Social Security reform, too. You know what I think would help? If they would get out there and make everyone get jobs and raise all these poor people out of poverty.
My fault. You’re right. The afore-mentioned professionals are not the ones charged with saving Social Security or winning the War on Drugs or any of the other things I mentioned. They are the ones responsible for keeping the border safe and closed off to illegal immigration. Just look at their success!

Question of the day: Did I really have to make this post, or do you simply enjoy pretending to be a moron?
