And 44-30 185 lb Minowaman in his speedos is some sort of world beater? It was shady because Sapp flopped into guard after the first minute instead of punishing Minowa on his feet. He could have kept it on the feet and – at the least – hurt him a little. Look at how much he made Nogueira, who’s light years better than Minowa, work. Minowa didn’t even have to do any work. He didn’t have a mark on him and wasn’t even breathing heavy. This gave him more energy to expend when he was celebrating Hulk Hogan-style with the crowd after the fight.
Japan has a long history of this shit dating back to when Pride was paying Mark Coleman $50K to can to Takada.
The Minowa-Soukoudju fight looked legit – you could hear the punch at least – but it was stopped too early.
