see we disagree again I think we should abolish wages and make every one work for free , just think we would have zero unemployment and the GOV could pay everybody welfare , food stamps and medical care

Why would anybody need welfare if everyone worked for free?

I was being facetious because of you standard republican straw man , I came up with my own straw man
You say Raise minimum wage to $40 or $50 an hour because you know that is ridiculous , I thought everyone having a job and giving America’s free market free labor at the cost of the federal GOV is just as ridiculous

I understand why you proposed free labor, that’s why I didn’t ask you how that would work. I asked why any type of welfare would be necessary if everyone worked for free. Another question brought up by your response is, how would the federal government support anyone if everyone worked for free?
While i do not agree with the first sentence “Doing business is a privilege, not a right” I do think that special tax breaks and limited liability is not a right , they are a privilege .
Think of it like a slave owner that refuses to give shelter and food to their slaves . Then the slave owner convinces a vocal group that it is iterferring with his (THE SLAVE OWNER"S) rights to force him to house and feed his slaves

Except it’s not at all like that, because Americans are still(for the time being) allowed to work anywhere they can find jobs. We are also still allowed to leave an employer if we choose to do so. There is one entity from which a man can not secede while staying on his personal property, but it’s certainly not Wal-Mart or McDonald’s.

You are missing the point albeit on purpose . But I will humor you . I as a tax payer want anyone that employs an individual to pay a wage that does not require my tax dollar to subsidize their employee’s life . If the employer is unable to do so he should cease his business and let some one that can take his place

Why is it that you believe one should be forced to subsidize another?

i don’t
[/quote]
Yes, you do. If a business is forced(by an uninvolved party) to pay employees a certain wage, then it’s subsidizing them. If a business doesn’t pay its employees what THEY think they are worth, they will leave, and the business will close. I don’t know why you feel you(or anyone else) are so superior to others that you have to decide their worth for them.
