Military Press Injury?

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. Several months ago I was military pressing (with dumbbells) and my left arm fell down. It didn’t hurt much, but something seemed to pop and I stopped this exercise. Since then I haven’t been doing much of this sort of exercise, but the other day I tried military pressing again and my left shoulder still felt weak and not stable. I guess I just won’t do any more military pressing, but since I’m something of a weight lifting novice I’m not sure if this is the correct course of action.

when else do you feel pain, and how long has this been going on for? I suggest seeing a doctor or PT. good luck.

You’re probably right, I’ve been having pain for several months. It’s less than it was, but I still can’t do certain lifts.

do you sleep on that shoulder ?
