Milanesa(Milanese) Steak Nutrition Info

i bought some packs of milanesa steak at the store and i cant find and nutrition data on it. it is fairly lean with a little bit of fat showing. anybody know the macros on it?

i will be eating only the steak and not making it breaded as the traditional way

I did the same thing recently, I put the whole pack in a tub of Greek vinaigrette dressing to marinate, and pulled them out to pan-fry in olive oil as needed. You will(obviously) want to cook them for a very short amount of time. I found best results from a very hot skillet for about 30 sec per side.

MIne didn’t come with any nutritional info either, though.

anybody?

Your nutrition information is going to be based on which cut of beef the steak came from. Milanesa just refers to meat that’s cut thin, pounded, and then breaded and fried. Stores then decide to package thin-sliced cuts of meat as scallopini’s or milanesa’s. Likely it’s a round cut, but I don’t know if it would be top or bottom, since I’ve never actually had it myself or known anyone that made it.

My suggestion would be to visually guess how much fat the meat has, and then give an estimate from there. Top round tends to be fattier than bottom round, this picture isn’t a horrible reference for relative fat: http://www.askthemeatman.com/images/beefroundallcuts.jpg
