Huge confidence builder on the bench today. I have been smashing PR’s on the bench for the last couple weeks, hopefully I will hit something bigger than I thought at the meet.
If you really want to do it, send the meet director, Gary Emrich, an email and tell him its your first meet and see if he will wave the late fee. I’m sure he will because he is a real nice guy. You should do it man, its fun as shit.
Wish I had something good to say about my performance at the meet but I dont. No real excuse. I was just too weak to lift the weights. Got all my openers at least and they were all ridiculously easy.
Went:
630, 480, 727 for an 1800 something total and a first place trophy. My 810 deadlift was about one inch from lockout but I just put it down for some stupid reason. What a waste. Oh well.
I might start a new log on here to chronicle the diet and training insanity that is leading up to the night of the living dead in ocotober.

That is still a great “bad” day brother!..Just learn from it and come back twice a good next time.
And if you started a new log, i’d definitely read man.
Keep it up…your consistency and intensity are going to pay off…no doubt in my mind
