I am seriously considering raw squats for the meet. Just a belt, singlet, and knee wraps. I have the bench shirt dialed in as well as the DL suit. My form in a squat suit is terrible. I will work it hard for the next couple weeks and hope for the best. We will see.

Foam Roll- 20-30 rolls on quads, it bands, hamstings, glutes, low back, upper back
Static Stretching- each movement for 5 sets of 10 seconds
Lying band hamstring stretch
Sit-and reach stretch
Foward Deep Lunge
Lateral Deep Lunge
Back Traction with Green Band for 5 mins
Foam Roll- 20-30 rolls on quads, it bands, hamstings, glutes, low back, upper back

Since I really started training for powerlifting, so 3 years. I just cut it out this last cycle and turned that day into more of a rep/work on weaknesses day. My bench has gone up a lot in this past cycle. I’ll keep it out of my program until the way im doing it now stalls, then I throw it back in for a few weeks.

But having very similar back problems to yours, when you say “traction” are you going to a chiro to get it done that regularly, or did you come up with some way of doing your own version of it?
I want to start adding that in hopes that it will help my back out as well, but I am not sure i want to take a second loan out on my house to go all of the time.

I have zero money. Also, I dont trust chiro’s. The only way they get more money is if your back stays messed up, so do you really think they want to fix it?
Anyway, I learned a ton of different ways to do self traction at home but only 2 of these ways actually traction and relieve pain and pressure.
This is one way:
This one is tough if you dont have regualr access to 4 blue bands and a power rack.
An easier way is to take a green band, sit on the floor like you are at the top of a sit-up( knees bent, feet flat on the floor, chest facing quads) and loop each end of the band around your knees. Make sure the band is set right above your hips and lay back. Move your legs and hips in every direction and motion possible for 2-5mins. This way works very well and is the main method I used. It feels like you are laying on a cloud when you first do it. haha.
