Maybe you shouldn’t skip so many words when you read things. Some of them actually mean something…

I’m sure there will be plenty of terrorism in the future, but there has been a sea change with respect to people feeling sympathy for terrorists. It will no longer have the effect it used to have.[/quote]

i’m sure explosives will have the same effect, no matter how the political wind blows.who ever felt respect for terrorist that will have suddenly lost it? i imagine their families, and fellow country men don’t share your sentiment.

You are really working hard to be dense today aren’t you. First you neglect to understand that an equally trained or competent big man can generally beat an equally trained or competent lighter man, then you jump to the conclusion that explosives will continue to be explosives.

Absolutely brilliant!

You may not have noticed, but even the Arab world is divided over the events in the Middle East now. People used to think terrorism was not a big issue, it was under the radar, it wasn’t understood as the evil that it is.

A light has been shone and we have all seen it clearly. Use of terrorism will from now on have much heavier consequences for the perpetrators and those that support them than it used to.

Do I have to spell it out further for your denseness or can you connect the dots for yourself now?

consider your source, calling me dense is a great example of the pot calling the kettle black. as dense as i may be, you are just as dense for sticking to your propaganda fed b.s. connect the dots? that strategy may work for you, but i require more concrete proof. there is no change in the "feelings: of the middle east, only a change your country and mine want’s us to help bring around. if you believe it, it does not mean it’s true. you sure have your head in the clouds on this one vroom. it’s very uncharacteristic of you, i though you were wiser than that. i look at both side’s,and as a member of both sides i think i have a wider scope on the feelings of both nations. considering my family is here and there, you can take my word for it. nobody is moving towards a western style of life, except for the puppet.when terrorism is the only voice of a desperate people, what makes you think this minor issue will silence that voice? wake up and smell the…

nitroglycerin 32 %
sodium nitrate 28 %
woodmeal 10 %
ammonium oxalate 29 %
guncotton 1 %

when was the first crusade again???

Dude, the fact that you sympathize with the fanatics is fine, for you, but it doesn’t change what is happening in the world… as much as you may want to ignore it.

Sorry.

The time for threatening the world with violence because you have absolutely nothing left up your sleeve is nearly over. The generations of hatred and anger, wasting your land, your children, your civilization and it’s wealth are all for nothing I am afraid.

Ouch. That’s gotta hurt.

Be an ass some more. I obviously didn’t quote you at all, or your text would have been included in what I wrote.

Anyway, perhaps if you weren’t busy being a pedant, you’d have something worth talking about.

What’s sad is how quickly you forget that I’ve been against the Iraq war since day one.

Moron.

Grow up.

The Palestinians have the highest WHAT rate?
There are a mere 12 Million Jews in the entire world yet they have received 169 Nobel Prizes. The Muslims number 1.4 Billion or 117 times the number of Jews! Based upon this 117:1 Muslim-to-Jewish ratio, one might expect the Muslims to have 22,260 Nobel Laureates. They have SEVEN! and one of them, Yasser Arafat. was a murderer.
Unless the Swedes and Norwegians start awarding Nobel Prizes for plane hijackings and bombings, restaurant bombings, civilian bus attacks, Jihad suicides/homicides, drive-by shootings, throat-slittings, embassy attacks and other such acts of barbarisms, the embarrassing low level of contribution to the welfare of civilization and humankind by the Muslim world will continue.

dannyrat, you continued: “Obviously, a PhD arab will look very much like an ignorant arab if he’s trapped in Gaza with no chance to even go to neighbouring arab countries to improve his situation”

All Arabs will forever remain ignorant while they are trapped by a religion like Islam. It was Jesus Christ, coming from the Jewish tradition and perhaps to some extent following in the footsteps of the Greeks, who gave the world Humanism. The West, as we know it, developed. The Mulims stayed where they were a thousand years ago. The tragedy is that Islam demands that we submit or die.

Do you know who Al Khawarizmi, Avicenna or Averroes were ?

If you don’t look them up.

The words algorithm and algebra come from Al Khawarizmi.

Islam can be synonymous with progress.

Of course it’s a bit difficult to see that today

Nice link. From a quick analysis it seems the Arabs were doing really well before Islam came along.

Progress seems to have slowed with the spread of Islam.

Absolutely. Christianity has (mostly) overcome it’s own dark ages.

Islam has been in their own dark ages for a few centuries.

Unfortunately a lot more blood will be shed before Islam is pulled out of theirs.

Actually, they did pretty well after Islam came along.

The earliest date on that list is about a 120 years after 622 which would be the starting date of Islam.

The decline started around 1400.

During this 800 year long period Arabs held the position that Americans do today ;: the biggest military, the best scholars, etc.

Saying that they were on top of the game for so long, I think we can agree that Islam does not hinder progress.

What people do with Islam is another matter. The way some people understand Islam today might make progress very difficult or even impossible.
