I wrote that he likely means he doesn’t watch what he eats closely. I’ll wait while you find that thread because I believe White Flash on this site was the one calling him out. I was on the other end trying to figure out why it mattered so much.
I don’t remember it 100% (could probably find it or if someone wants to post a link) but I do remember you saying you’d have to see the curl weight to believe it. Not that that’s irrational, I would too. But it’s just part of the whole “calling him a liar” thing. I would imagine some people said worse than that though but I can’t say for sure.

Also I completely agree with what Stu said. I pretty much critique every physique I see, even if they’re way bigger/leaner than me. I don’t think “wow he looks like shit” or something but right away when I see a physique I often notice the flaws or what could be improved. I think most have that outlook after being in this for awhile. When I see pics of Stu, Waylander, Px I notice things that could be brought up to increase the overall package but all of these guys are further along than me in development
That thread is here:

I was by no means calling this guy out in any way but using his progress to make the statement that you have to train according to your own genetics.
This is part of what I was referring to:
Professor X wrote:
I know those 3hr plus workouts are ridiculous and I really don’t see how someone who works three jobs and goes to school has the time for that…unless one of his jobs is as a personal trainer at that gym.

Professor X wrote:
I would have to see a 350lbs preacher curl though with my own eyes to believe that one.

I also agree that his food intake is questionable. Someone who only needed one small meal a day would be able to diet just fine on chicken breasts…something he was not able to do.
I’m not looking for an argument, I know you weren’t calling this guy out. It’s just an example of people questioning the truth of what he says. As mentioned I’m sure some do/did it in a more negative way.
What exactly is your goal here? I specifically wrote in that thread that I was NOT calling him a liar but that since this was his first time ever even being interviewed (not to mention he isn’t even American and how long he has been here is questionable), that he may have been off about some of the things he said. That is a far cry from calling the man a liar…which seems to be what you are implying I was saying.

X - in pumpeds original post he said you were questioning his eating habits - which is EXACTLY what you wrote in that thread! Why are you arguing for no reason?

“I could be arguing in my spare time” (anyone?! -lol)

^The skit from that British show - forget what’s it’s called, haha.

^^this reminds me of something I heard once… internet arguments are like the special olympics. Congratulations on the win but you’re still retarded lol

His inability to admit when he’s wrong is really mindblowing. It’s right there in black and white (and by black and white I mean black and yellow).

I am talking about calling the man a liar, not questioning his eating or lifting at all. I think everyone, including CT back then, thought he might be leaving out some of what he eats when he asked that question…but calling the man a liar for it like so many sites were doing is the big difference.

Is that much clear?

This isn’t about admitting that I thought he ate more than one time a day.

Maybe you should read some of those posts before responding.

That entire thread linked to this one is a debate between many people and some like White Flash who were calling out Max Charles for being a liar.

Pumped never stated you called him a liar. He said you wrote that his eating habits were questionable, which you did write. Then you started an argument with pumped for absolutely no reason.

You can respond however you want, that is exactly what happened and I don’t feel any further need to comment.

Wouldnt questioning someones eating habits or lifts or pretty much anything be calling them a liar? Saying you dont quite believe what they claim is in its essence calling someone a liar right?

His eating habits ARE questionable, but since I was making the very specific point that this does not make the man a LIAR, I felt that needed to be made clear…since this entire fucking thread is about bodybuilders getting called out in media and the internet by random people.

I am trying to make that point. If you simply want me to admit I am wrong about something, so be it.

Dear Lanky, I am so wrong for not saying I am blatantly wrong about ever questioning the man’s eating habits…even if that was not what I was debating with pump about and isn’t the point I was making.

It sure would be if you avoided reading that whole thread where the issue is HE IS A FOREIGNER and THIS IS HIS FIRST INTERVIEW EVER.

well my last post never showed up so I’ll try again…

Wouldn’t questioning someones eating habits and or what they claim to lift be calling them a liar? The dictionary defines the word questionable as:

questionable:
adjective
doubtful as regards truth or quality

I think if you say something is questionable you are doubting whether or not the person is being completely truthfull, thus saying they arent telling the truth=calling them a liar. Right?

.greg.
.greg.
Your post did show up…and again, this is why that entire other thread was linked…you know, the one where even CT was writing that he isn’t lying but doesn’t know how to give interviews.

But, you know, I suppose if you want to continue ignoring all of that, including where I specifically wrote all of this out in that thread again saying I AM NOT CALLING THE MAN A LIAR, then so be it.

Maybe he did know what he was saying? Admittedly I did not read that other thread. Did Michael Lockett release a statement to retract his interview and say he was confused or didn’t know how to give an interview since it was his first one?
gregron wrote:

Because he’s a foreigner it makes questioning what he claims not calling him a liar?

Lying implies a deliberate attempt at deception.

Questioning whether or not he is mistaken to some degree is not the same thing as saying he is suspected of intentionally giving a false statement.
