Yes, it would be. That is how it is referred to abroad, so as not to confuse it with football (soccer). Only in America is football, not American football. Just as there are not Chinese restaurants in China.

Hey, let’s get down to business. Face it, the Amercian women’s beach volleyball team isn’t hot at all. Yeah, there great players, but they aren’t going to win any beauty contests and, after all, and that’s what REALLY counts :), if I am going to get nightly exposure to scantily clad women jumping around in the sand.

I have found myself rooting for the Norwegians, Cubans, Dutch opponents, because they are cute (can’t wait to see the Brazilians).

Walking? I want to know what the rules were.

Even though im not a big fan of american football i agree. It’s getting bigger and bigger around the world each year. It will most likely be added if it gets world wide attension.

It will never happen. You are right that it is rising in popularity, but think about it. The Olympics last about two weeks. Now, it takes quite a while for an athlete to recover from a football game. No way you can play a game every other day or even every third day. For that reason, American football will never be an Olympic Sport.

Handball and soccer is in the olympics. Well football games can be quiet long when i come to think about it, but if it keeps growing like it does now it probably should in my opinion even though i find it boring. Same with soccer… ITS SOOO BORING!!

I heard on the news a few days ago that golf is being considered for the olympics.

Golf.

Sports that belong in olympics:

Any kind of fighting sport
Weight lifting
Track and field
Swimming
Gymnastics
Bicycling

Nothing else. To me olympics is about individuals having pushed their bodies to superior performance. Team sports should not be there.

Shooting, archery, sailing, diving and the equestrian events which are even gheyer than diving and done on a bloody horse should also be taken out.

Now this guy has the right idea.
Except I don’t mind archery and shooting as they have that warrior conection which is where the Olympics came from.

Speed and marathon ejaculation also belong in the Olympics…you can make an argument for volume ejaculation, but that’s mostly genetic.
