Men's Olympic Hockey

6-0 It looks way to easy.

US is beating up on the Fins … hope they hold this pace

You know its bad when you pull yourself.

Seems like the fins have figured out the game has started now that it’s the second period.

USA is beatin that ass! I really like team USA’s mentality of just being more physical than everyone and asserting their will. I’m excited for USA vs Canada rematch for the gold!

.greg.

I can’t watch this anymore. Off goes the tv.

As for the men;
I’m calling the Finish upset the USA. Kipper vs. Miller in the nets is the story of this game. I think the Fins have the number of team USA tomorrow. Slovaks give Canada more trouble than anyone expected. Canada eeks it out to face the Fins.

The men’s tournament is so close it’s going to be amazing watching the last four games![/quote]

Or, Kipper pulls himself 12 minutes in.

Yeah I am banking on a US-Canada final as well. Their preliminary bout was pretty damn exciting I have to say, and the final would be even more thrilling to watch.

Man the Finnish are getting pounded here. That Canada game tonight will be much better I’m sure!

Nooooo… this is just embarrassing now.

Is Hockey a new sport in Finland?

Shameful display by the Finns. A bunch of kids with Asperger’s Syndrome playing on a frozen pond could put on a better performance.

Maybe I’m confused as to what Asperger’s is, or maybe you are, either way I don’t think Asperger’s would really affect a hockey players abilities all that much…

Buuuuuut I get what you’re saying, the Fins played badly

Although highly functioning and in often cases brilliant in some respects, they often have difficulty with teamwork and applying themselves towards the common goals of a group.

Didn’t want to make it sound like I was making fun of the handicapped. The Finns played like a group of Emperor Penguins on sedatives. How’s that?

The US had, for all intents and purposes, a practice round tonight. Hope they’re well prepared for Sunday.

A big factor of a Canada vs USA final would be if Canada can stay out of the box. Either way though, Canada FTW.

faaaair enough … I think Asperger’s fits with your given description though … so you were right

Could not believe my eyes upon opening the tv. Oh well, if Finland grasps bronze, it’s still a great performance for a small country.

Damnit I want to watch Canada v. Slovakia so bad but I have to go to Red Lobster with the family. I hate watching recorded Olympics stuff, it’s just not as fun. :frowning:

OH MY GOD. JEEZUS. Phew.

Canada - US for sure now

Man, Slovakia had a GREAT opportunity to send that into OT, what a wide open net(Luongo was sprawled on the ground in no position to get anything above his foot) and he hits it too high into the crossbar.

The epic rematch is set though, Sunday primetime.
