When you see the “joy of life” on the faces of particular champs (like Roelly, Kai, Platz, etc) it’s contagious and it makes you like them and root for them even more.
In other words, all things being equal, I’d choose the guy who looks like he’s having a good time up there.

i was thinking the same thing. from a purely promotional stand point, Roelly has the potential and personality to do good things for the sport.

But any1 know whats with the sponges, for more forearm activation or summat?
I knew a rugby player in college that used them when he trained. He did it because he would tear off a lot of calluses when lifting and didn’t like how the bb/db felt with gloves. They might give you some extra forearm activation but I can only guess about that.
I remember in the late 70’s the great Roy Callender used to use sponges on the bar when training. I think he did it to protect his hands. Hell, who could argue?

Face it. Nobody who screams roids is actually “blaming” roids for success. No, they are saying that the level of success a professional IFBB bodybuilder attains is impossible without roids. So, if you want to be an IFBB pro you have to juice. Someone quote this cause PX has me on ignore.
Face it, professional athletics is completely swamped with performance enhancing drugs. Why did Wes Welker come back from a terrible ACL tear in 8 months. Why are the patriots full of successful hard workers who never had the talent to play anywhere else? Because the best players are those who will sacrifice their future health for the benefit of the team, whether it is taking an extra hit on the field or in the locker room. Yes, the patriots are probably the biggest juicers in football, but this transcends any sport, league, or team. There is too much money for the players who are on the bubble not to juice, there is too much money for the owners not to pressure stars to juice to maintain their edge, there is too much pressure from the television contracts to maintain the star players in the spotlight for people not to juice, there is a steroid epidemic brewing that will break.
This argument stance I take is very hard to argue against, since I don’t accept much as proof. The lack of positive tests is a null and void argument for obvious reasons. The fact that the people in the spotlight are consistently dishonest about this is disheartening and ultimately will cost everyone a lot more suffering than honesty.
And wtf is that back holy shit. I can’t remember seeing the lower traps the pronounced in the lat spread in any recent bodybuilder. Oma knows what she is doing

Also, notice at 1:17 OMG HE IS TURNING HIS WRISTS ON BICEP CURLS SO HIS PINKY IS HIGHER THAN THE REST OF HIS HAND.
So when nominus Prospectus says this, its bullshit. And now the Roelly will do it, what?
NP’s autobiography is coming out next month - you’ll find it in the fiction section of all crap bookshops. Don’t expect him to attend the book signing on account of his suffering from a terminal bout of notarealpersonitis. Apparently not being a real person is no obstacle these days, particularly on internet forums.

Yeah. Roelly’s smile is infectious. You can tell that he’s loving every single minute of what he’s doing.
