MCT?s

Hi everyone,

I was searching the forum and have read some posts about MCT?s. They sound like a great thing.
But i have some question though:

1 Considering these fats nature, would it be ok to eat them with P+C meals?

2 I was thinking they might be good 1.5 hours pre workout p+f meal, what do u guys think about this?

3 Are they a wise decision pre-bedtime source of fat?

Thanks,

Rollus

Parillo really preaches MCT oil.

I’ve had the most success using MCT’s when cutting. Uses MCT calories to replace the calories from carbs.

Another positive: Try mixing it up with protein and boiling water in pudding form. It changes the texture and taste. It’s great.

One negative: They will make you sweat more than normal. That’s it. Good stuff.

No you simply dont want fat with P+C after working out, that defeats the purpose of refilling glycogen stores.

Yes they are great befor bed, I either use coconut or flax oil befor bed, coconut has high amounts of MCT’s

Hope that helps

Phill i didnt mean to mix them PWO, i mean any P+C meal during the day. I know i need carbs to replensih my glycogen stores after a workout, something a fat cant do. What Ive being doing since yesterday is throw some coconut milk and 2% cottage cheese with some splenda and pineapple extract in the blender before bed, it aint that bad.
Im also going to start using coconut oil with some intermediate/slow digesting protein 1.5 hours PreWO. I believe Ill have higher energy lvls and that aminos will be constantly flowing through my bloodstream, preventing catabolism.
What do u think about these?
