3 5 round decisions is not a great night of fights. Where they technically good fights sure but exciting no. And MMA just met WWE. I was waiting for for Mayhems stable to come out and save him with chairs and for someone to hit an elbow from the top of the cage. That was so pro wrestling it hurts.
And the better fight tonight was Martinez vs Pavlik. That was some good stuff.
I thought it was hilarious, the entire fight team pounced on Mayhem.

Yeah, people are too worried about MMA image and stuff. but that kind of stuff SELLS, it’s the best kind of marketing for the average joe.
People will see, holy fuck the guys brawl in the cage and even after, I HAVE TO WATCH THE NEXT event.
I really like strikeforce, it’s the most solid event like Dream that are good places to show case fighters that are not in the UFC
I think multiple venues and non- PPV events are good for the sport. The NFL, NBA, and MLB all have assholes and right or wrong it only brings more attention. Look at the PGA with Tiger right now!
But they are consolidated sports with a lot of benefits to their athletes, the last thing MMA needs right now is a monopoly.

If Strikefore/CBS loses their sponsors after boring fights and a brawl there won’t be another show. This isn’t Spike.
i know that why i said multiple venues are right now. Gives a chance to showcase mnay diff fighteres, With UFC, WEC, STrikeforce etc…just wish we could have more croos over match-ups. ie Fedor vs ANYBODY!
For me Fedor just needs to go to UFC and rape Brock, then he can retire as the biggest legend in MMA, like Pele, Jordan and Tiger Woods
