Maximum fat loss per week.

I’m on a cutting cycle for 3 weeks, with weights 3x a week and sprints in the morning 2x a week. I’ve reduced my carbs to under 100g per day, and I’m taking 3x T2 pills, and 4x Tribex. What is the maximum calorie deficit I should aim for to lose as much fat as possible, with as little muscle loss as possible? My BF% is 13% at the moment, if it helps, and I weight 160lbs @5’6".

Has anyone tried this diet between prohormone/steriod cycles with LBM maintenance with significant loss of fat?

lol at Choad. I know what you mean, but I’m predisposed to nipple fat, and it really pisses me off, and it gets worse when I get over 12%bf. I live in the UK and supplements are v/expensive over here, and I’m out of protien powders and Mag-10, so the plan was to get my BF<10% in 3 weeks, then have enought money to go on 2 x 2week cycles of Mag-10.

the fat fast diet was meant to lose weight while on heavy supplentation so as not to lose muscle mass. When you cut calories by a lot you lose muscle mass fast. Since you do not have that supplementation then you should probably start off by cutting calories slowly and switch to a higher fish oil higher protein diet while cutting carbs. Definitely cut carbs in the second half of the day and only use them in your workout shake if you work out in the second half. You need to get your body used to burning fat for fuel. also you should boost your metabolism by doing high intensity interval training. you need to have patience which is easier said then done. I’m also trying to lose fat and it is hell for me. laters pk

If supplements are expensive, then why are you taking more than the recommended dose of tribex? If your bottle says 4 pills, it was a misprint… Tim Patterson corrected it later on and said to take 3.

I think you mean T2 is max 3 pills a day. Tribex is 4 pills twice a day, well that’s what it says on the box. To pkradgreek: that’s for the info, I’ve just read the steroid dieting article aswell. I think I’ve cut my calories to heavily soon, so I’ll have to work on that. I was going to follow the sprint routine on Joel Marions site twice a week. I play alot of soccer and cycle everywhere so I usually find myself in a large calorie deficit. I’ve been getting around 140g of protein so far, does anyone think I should get any more? I’ve been shafted by the postal service, as my protein powders haven’t arrived after being send about 2 weeks ago. I’ll be job hunting tomorrow to raise some funds. I’ve been sponging off my parents for too long. Adios.

Note from Mod: Tribex used to be 8 caps a day. With the improved formula, it’s 6 per day in divided doses.

More protein man! You should be getting about 240g./ed. When you cut your carbs increase the cals with flax oil if need be. BTW nipple fat Bahhahaha. j/k, good luck man.

more protein for sure. get 2 grams per pound and use carbs and fat for the rest of your calories accordingly to your plan. When ever you stress the body, ie. mass phase or cutting phase you shock it a lot. you need the extra protein. plus protein takes more calories to digest then carbs and fat. You mentioned that you play soccer and bike. these 2 activities will burn calories but they are not necesarilly high intensity activities. I would substitute a leg workout with a sprint workout and i would calculate approximately how many calories you burn with your extra activities, soccer, biking. On days that you have a lot of extra activities i would not weight train. too much ebergy expenditure which might force the body to store fat and lose muscle fast. laters pk
