It’s in the Muscle Asylum Project ads.
King Ronnie. End of story.
Just wait until myostatin blockers get on the black market, look it up. If any of you read Popular science there was an article about it in there. You see the “bully whippets” and those massive bulls that are born without the enzyme myostatin, which is responsible for tearing down muscle I believe. According to the article, when tested in rats and mice, the myostatin blocker, after just 2 injections, permanently increased muscle mass by 50%. Imagine when body builders get their hands on that stuff.
They were planning on doing human testing but some lucky ass mofo kid in Germany was born myostatin deficient and apparently even though hes only like 9, hes a beast. They are just going to observe him now instead of human testing and he is completely healthy
Technically speaking (since “pro” BBer was not specified), the biggest bodybuilder is probably some morbidly obese guy who just took up the sport.
Or Lee Priest in the off season.

Great Khali,. think his name is Dilip SInghn, or something like that. I remember seeing a pic of him next to Yates back in the mid 90’s, and Yates looked like a little kid -lol.

His name is Dalip Singh Rana. He’s from my dad’s hometown.
Andre the Giant although not a bodybuilder-more a strongman was probably one of the biggest so far. But he suffered for it.
He doesn’t appear to have the mobility issues Andre had. I mean, I’m sure his joints hurt just from his height, but he’s obviously in much better overall shape (I know Andre was sick! I know!)

More than that, think of the amount of food needed just to maintain that much mass. I eat enough for a family of four everyday. Someone like that must be like feeding an elephant.
.
Poor ol Khali
He has lost a ton of size. The wrestling lifestyle of being on the road 250-300 days off the year would be hard for a guy well over 7 feet tall and 400 pounds.
Could u imagine trying to fit into all the hire cars and planes and u travel around the country and overseas when u are that big.
He should stick to movies.Wrestling will kill him if he aint careful.
Nathan Jones makes Magnus Samuelson look like a kid during their famous arm wrestling match. Keep in mind Magnus Samuelson is almost 6 ft 7.
I know they aren’t bodybuilders but I doubt it was because genetics were against them, rather they just liked competing in strongman more.
Damn, Magnus looks skinny.

Man i have so much respect for Magnus. He doesn’t let his strength go to his head.
I was looking at both Nathan Jones and Magnus Samuelsson’s weight and height and their not hugely different (NJ is 350 whilst MS is 343).
I read in a Indian newspaper many years ago that Dalip Singh eats like 15-20 paratha a day(a fat buttered fresh bread that Indians eat). I can only manage 5 in one go!
I do know that he suffers from knee pain. And i don’t think he trains legs much cause of the length of his limbs.

Thanks for that video! Hadn’t seen it before.
I think this is probably the upper limit on muscular gains
I don’t think people will be able to get much bigger than the current Olympia competitors.
