Hey everyone I wanted to know if anyone could give me an estimate on a 1 rep squat max, I tried a calculator and it seemed a little off.
I know everyones different and im not trying to get a perfect answer, just want a estimate, especially if someone has a similar lift to me.
i doubt anyone could give you even close to your max on a 20 rep squat…the closer you are to your 1 rep max, the more accurate you will get using any type of max calculator. 20 reps is way to far up the spectrum.
What vikingrob said. Plus, even at lower rep ranges it depends on how long you are pausing (how many breaths you are taking) between reps. If you can get 6 reps at a given weight but these are more like rest-paused singles, then your true 1RM will be a lot lower than what you would get out of a 1RM calculator.
