NOTES: Fuck yeah! I hit 455[/quote]

DUUUUUUUDE! Fucking awesome. There is nothing more to say.

Escept that I think it violates some kind of zoning by-law to wear clothes with bolder patterns that your skin.

Ha thanks guys, yeah looking at the vid I looked like a piece of graffitti. Since taking vids I really realize the issues I have with regards to form, in addition to my buddies here pointing them out, I truly appreciate it because I really would have no idea, so thanks for the tips and encouragement. I believe the bent arm is coming from in this lift from possibly the bar being too far away from my chins…Ill keep on truckin.

Don’t be so hard on yourself. I know there is a huge amount of pressure to be ‘ripped’ these days and I’m sure we could all do with losing a bit of bodyfat, but I would say that your “chins” have quite a way to go before they start to affect your deadlift!

Great PR!

^^X2

Thanks Brett and Bulldog, I do try to do stuff outside of the gym to remain active especially since my job is so sedentary, whether its taking the dogs on long walks, playing softball on Sunday, basketball and handball during the week it keeps young and feeling better. The aspect of “cardio” just bores the shit outta me.

Matty it was a joke because you typed chins instead of shins. I wasn’t really implying you were fat!!

Maybe I should have typed LOL after it. Sorry.

Don’t worry, half my attempted jokes backfire!

HA HA HA, I took it as a joke I thought it was hilarious…of course I stared at my neck in the mirror and tried to count all the chins on my face LOL!

I hear you on the cardio Matty, all the shit I am doing is so I can get back to even playing softball, basketball etc. Your a tank man keep it up. We going to have football in the fall?

Bro, I am a glass full kinda guy, Im looking towards next season like it will go off without a hitch, blindly optomistic in this instance. For my own sanity I have to look at it this way, I was really paying attention but I basically told myself, theres a way to go and things will get settles, because most players dont know how to handle their money lol.

^ True I am like you and look at the positive, however I do have my moments of anxiety. I love college football but the NFL has always been my favorite. Still look forward to the draft though, WC and I were talking about starting a NFL DRAFT thread so we can BS during the draft. I used to have the BBQ and have tons of people over. Now with it starting on Thursday night cant do that, so I will be forever alone on the couch for the first two nights.

Thats a good idea, I know nothing about college FB other than what I read on the NFL thread, so you guys are my source of knowledge, if you do that I will make sure to stop in and make fun of Kipers head.

Kiper is such a tool, I have hard time watching that ass hat. I loved it the one year the GM went off on him, I cant remember who it was but it was great. I watch the NFL network for the draft, I flip over to ESPN only during the commercials. I respect Mike Mayock cause he at least played in the league, Kiper is just an media geek.

Solid work. Saw the DL vid and that’s quite cool. Wish more people did that in my gym. The bent arm is weird but I don’t think that the bar is too far away as when you bend down it looks like it comes in contact with your shin. I think that you’re actually shrugging the weight as you lift it. Are you really focused on driving with your heels? I think that you’ve got a lot more in you once you really nail your form.

Cardio sucks but it’s not so boring if it’s a sled or KB. Besides, the sled is a big FU to the runners in their little New Balance shorts.

james

Hey James,

Thanks for stopping by, your right I actually fell foward in that vid my heels actually raised! I believe and hope your right, my form is an issue and hopefully I can get the form corrected soon. The arms bent is a problem I had no idea I had until taking the vids which many people have said I am in danger of tearing my bicep because of it. I have to almost pre-pull the bar to get my arms straight as possible and then pull which I dont think I did in that vid.

I don’t know what I’m going to do without NFL football guys, I mean my Falcons are finally building a nice team and now there is a lock out?? WTF, I blame the Saints for all of this.

^ Hahahahahahahaha Dude you have the hardest fucking division besides the AFC East. You guys beat up on each other then stumble into the playoffs. For the record Atlanta just needs to get a little better on Defense and they will be a force to deal with. What if Carolina drafts Cam you get to face him twice a year in the future.

Form is easy to correct and you obviously have the strength to pull more.

When you set up actively raise your chest up and tighten your back which should take the slack out of your arms. Then press through the ground with your heels and that should both keep your arms straight and keep you off of your toes.

I’m not sure what will happen with Cam. The Panthers don’t have much at WR, Steve Smith is getting old and was pretty banged up last year. I think our LB’s can handle him in space but our secondary, especially at nickel might have some problems. We really need a solid DE to help Abe.
I do not know what to say about the playoffs, that team that the Pack beat up was not the same team I watched the previous 18 games. May just be they’re young but they made a lot of mistakes in that game that they just don’t make. Not to say the Packers wouldn’t have won but we shouldn’t have gotten routed.

Thanks bro, Ill be pulling again on Saturday and will definitely heed your advice!

Guys there will be football next year…there has to be football next year. I will be talking like there is no issues and there will be football next year.

I have no faith in Clausen, and the other shit they have at QB is even worse (Matt Moore and some guy named pike?) They also have a shit ton players entering free agency, and I think Steve Smith is gonna be more of a problem than a benefit. I would go QB and somehow try sign a FA vet QB.

As far as the Falcons go, they may have to look at TE in the draft and a pass rusher cuz Abraham is getting old. Also after Roddy White do they really have another receiver?
