I admire his resolve as well Cav…I have exercised with a lot of friends who are trying to get stronger or whatever, I always tell them and believe that every session you should try to do one pullup, chinup whatever even if you get a quarter of the way up, just keep on trucking.
That’s a good idea. I think I will try that.
I made the mistake, yesterday, of trying a pull-up before doing anything else…cold. At 280#, I thought I had destroyed my biceps. I did get it, though.
Also, due to the wrist, I can’t fully supinate my left hand. So I have to do them with pronated grip or neutral grip.
Yeah man, I have done that as well, I usually use a DB to get to the pullup bar because im a bit short, but for some stupid reason I decided to jump and hang on the bar cold…not a good idea. Neutral grip I find the most comfortable on the wrist, when I use band resistance chins I use a neutral grip…
No I haven’t. No bands, and I workout at home. Also, no neutral grip chin setup. I need to acquire some things it seems.
I could give my wife a workout and tie a rope around my upper torso and have her pull, for the assist. Should be a great workout for her.

When I started doing the CF with the wife on Sat I of course had to do chins/pull ups and dips. fucked my shoulder that I am still dealing with. I have no Rom laterally with my left arm. I miss doing chins/pull up even with bands. I am jelly Matty about that, I know I need surgery but I dont want to be out for the rehab.

Okay kid who works for me found this tire and the guy has 7 more if I buy more than one I get them for $75 apiece if only one than $100. He is a pretty big kid but not a lifter, he was able to flip it and then roll it to his moms house. What you think?

LOL shit DJ I know things are bigger in Texas but DAMN!!!
Check this video of the guys I train with sometimes in Jersey…in a couple shots you can see some of my friends simply pushing up a tire that is 1100 lbs and your tire looks even bigger than that! there is a part where Im flipping a tire (the same vid as before) and you really see the difference in size…I dont know man, Im sure you can flip that tire but DAMN thats a big tire!

LOL, how much does that weigh? compared to some of the 200-300 lb’ers I have seen, that thing must weigh 600.
I thought the same thing but like I said the kid who works for me does not lift weights and he could flip it. The guy he is buying it off of owns the tire shop. He said he has smaller ones but they are heavier. Go figure.

Well if I cant flip the fucker then I will just beat the shit out of it with my sledge.
I have no doubt you can flip that big bastard…and then hammer the shit out of it…I cannot wait till it gets warmer man, all this tire talk wants me to get at it.
I will promise (no lunk alarm) that I will video this cardio rotation. So if I die it will never be shown and you will never hear from me again. Send money to the wife.
