It’s an apt comparison. Most sexual assaults occur between people that know each other. A rapist is going to look more like someone you know.

Getting compared to a rapist isn’t an offensive comparison because rapists don’t have exclusively bad qualities and the comparison could refer to one of those.

I actually already stated that a few times. Again, I have no interest in the argument proper here. It’s a rather boring one. It was the contention that the statement that was made was racist that drew my attention, as it matched no understanding of racism I had encountered before. It’s been enjoyable unpacking that idea and finding where the stop points existed in either side of the discussion, and though I disagree with the thoughts people have on that statement being racist, I understand how they came to that conclusion.
I understand a lot of folks are heavily emotionally invested in the discussion, and it’s causing some ugly and silly things to be said, but I don’t let it get to me. I’m simply fan of philosophy and logic.
For the record I am not heavily emotionally invested. TG is such a small group I honestly don’t care all that much. I don’t know any and believe the vast majority are at worst benign for society. I also don’t ever much care how an aware adult chooses to live their lives or what they choose to do to their bodies. I’m largely more interested in the irrationality and intentional ignorance of many of the “pro-TG” people. There is an underlying denial of facts and logic I find difficult to understand, especially in otherwise intelligent people.

Being extremely abnormally short is dwarfism. Highly abnormal in a negative way (2 things you’ve already admitted) is what normal people refer to as a disorder.

It absolutely isn’t. An adult male who is 5 feet tall is extremely short, but is very unlikely to be a dwarf. Further, dwarfism typically presents with a constellation of characteristic features other than short stature.
If you wish to hold an opinion contrary to that of the expert scientific community, that’s your business. But you don’t get to claim that your opinion is a fact.

Actually dwarfism is entirely classified by height. There are a number of different underlining conditions that can cause it. 5” would be extremely close to outright classification. But a person who is 5” tall in the US most likely has some underlying disorder. Either genetic or nutritional problems. TG are in the 99.7th or so percentile on the standard deviation outside of normal in a negative way. That does seem similar to me.

Much appreciated. In truth, after getting my masters in political science, I find most discussions unenjoyable, so I rarely contribute except if I see something that stands out. That said, I still appreciate a good philosophical discussion.

Yes, and I understand men have them, too, so I’m not sure what the big flap is. Again I point out that this has likely been going on for some time without there being a problem or a legal precedent. I would even guess that I have shared a bathroom with a pedophile, though maybe not as females are reportedly much rarer than males.
FTR, I believe my young sons would have been more at risk in public restrooms from males identifying as male, whether heterosexual or homosexual, than from F-to-M transgender persons, as testosterone is strongly correlated with sexual assault.
