Well, so far it’s looking like none of the folks who were singing in the Kroc Choir are going to touch this one with a 10 ft pole. Wassup, people?
People were singing in the Kroc choir because prior to this they respect him (and probably still do) as a fellow weightlifter/powerlifter/bodybuilder/etc and want to give him the benefit of the doubt. What has this man done to earn anyones respect around here?

Examples

adjective
1.
having false or unrealistic beliefs or opinions:
Senators who think they will get agreement on a comprehensive tax bill are delusional.
2.
Psychiatry. maintaining fixed false beliefs even when confronted with facts, usually as a result of mental illness:
He was so delusional he thought he was a woman when he was a man.
Lol.

Learn when to quit when you’re behind.

All you’ve done here is yet again display your simplistic (lack of) understanding of basic psychiatry.

I’ll leave it to someone else to point out just how you managed to do that again.

And finally, some advice: go back and read the reaction of a veteran clinical psychologist to your ridiculous belief regarding all transgenders. (Hey, I guess by your definition YOU are delusional!)
Ah, yes, the “appeal to authority.” It’s a pretty standard internet debate tactic.

That said, I have no doubt modern psychologists say lots of goofy stuff.

People want to justify their actions and having a doctor, lawyer, rabbi or a priest tell them their perversion is just swell, is standard operating procedure these days.

So if you want to believe a 300lb dude, with an apparently normal Y chromosome, normal male genitalia, is a really a woman, more power to you.

I, however, like the boy who called out the naked king in the face of peer pressure, have no obligation to share in the delusion.

The Emperor Hath No Vagina.

First, leave my over-sized genitalia out of this, please.

Npw, near as I can recall, there was no choir singing. I could be mistaken, though.

Speaking for myself, I do know that I was doing a solo piece about further examination of the biology and neurology involved in transgenderism before jumping to conclusions. I wrote the piece following a fairly substantial stint working with mentally ill people.

But more than anything else, I was singling at the top of my melodic voice about lawyers who thoughtlessly diagnose all transgenders as delusional, especially when they clearly don’t even know what that word means.

What I am sure of is that I repeatedly did a comforting little background ditty about how some “transgenders” might indeed be delusional, and that I was making NO claims in the specific case of Kroc, given that I didn’t know enough to do so.

As for this current person?

My best guess would be a delusion, though I honestly don’t know.

I have a vague sense that there is something fundamentally different about what is mostly binary gender vs. a very clear spectrum of age.

But, who knows?

So, wassup witchu?

You’ve posted the most sensible contributions to this thread, sir.

This whole thing with Kroc has me really pissed off. I’ve been scouring Craigslist for months now and I haven’t found a single pink dumbbell over 120 pounds to do my rows with.

Push - to be fair, this thread should also include vids such as the following:

I recently interviewed Janae Kroc. The article just went up.

I liked it, good job.

My personal take:

Does having your dick all chopped up and pumping yourself full of oestrogen make you a girl? Nope, but if she feels like it does and she’s happier as a result, then you go, girl.

Hopefully now as Janae he’ll be much happier than he ever was as Matt.

Holy cow the comments on facebook are an absolute trainwreck. I can’t understand why that is the preferred venue. From following the comments on the Elitefts facebook page during the Arnold, it was confirmed to me that the majority of the people online are missing a chromosome. Or have an extra one. I guess the jury is still out.

suicide rate among transgendered people who had reassignment surgery is 20 times higher than the suicide rate among non-transgender people.

Also, I wore my Kroc Rows shirt yesterday. Still one of my favorites.

I just don’t understand why people get so worked up over stuff that doesn’t have any bearing on their life whatsoever.

some people get bored, some people just like to run their heads over issues, some people see trends that may effect their lives in some way
i work with a transgender, when speaking or being around this person requires thinking about what you say or do before saying or doing anything,as in is this statement or action going to offend this person

this sentence was in an article i read
409 who were assigned male at birth, and 83 who were assigned female.
apparently who ever is doing the assigning is making mistakes ,that are having to be corrected

I’m not going to state my opinion because its not PC and therefore not tolerated. However I will pose a question. How is it 100% socially acceptable for a transgender to take hormones in a fleeting attempt to change their sex, but, if a man wants to take hormones to push himself to the ultimate limits of strength and size, he is demonized and called a cheater? I feel there is something fundamentally flawed with our societies view points.

This right here is what I’m talking about! Haha
