Matt Kroc Transitions to Janae Kroc

… this thread has me more confused than a fat kid with a chopped salad.

Seeing black doesn’t necessitate voiding all other color. The whole world need not be black and white to know one particular thing is black.
No, but calling something “black” that many, many other people – including some who have devoted their lives to the study of it – see as grey or green or any other color, is a pretty good sign that one’s color scheme is dichotomous.

And in case anyone else has JB’s reading comprehension problems, my point all along has NOT been to just defend these people, but rather to advocate for open-minded investigation and scientific conclusions.
It is a scientific fact that he’s a male. Krok is a man. That is the science. Believing that he is a lesbian is delusional and completely contrary to scientific fact. I guess you could argue that being delusional and living in a fantasy land isn’t bad, but there are some guys in institutions you’ll need to start referring to as napoleon. You can pursue scientifically the causes (something JB has shown himself open to), but the fact that he is a man in a dress who mistakenly believes he’s a lesbian isn’t in question.

Hey push there’s some evidence to suggest that having a non-monogamous sexual partner in a marital relationship can affect the outcomes of a child negatively in a similar way that fatherlessness does.

However, as long as the parents stay together(till death do us part) and form a strong bond and communicate their intentions to the child, then there’s nothing inherently wrong with swinging.

The other side of that argument is that swinging does eventually weaken the bond between parents or that people who are swinging in a marital relationship have a weaker bond to begin with, making it difficult to maintain a marriage.

Divorce is a terrible outcome for children and as long as you maintain the bond between parents, I don’t think there’s a good argument for swinging being immoral by definition.
Reckless behavior that has a significant probability of harming the well-being of others is easily argued to be immoral (even when you get lucky and avoid harm).

If I think I’m really good at driving while drunk and drive home without hitting anyone, that doesn’t reduce the immorality of my decision to recklessly endanger the well-being of other drivers, passengers, and pedestrians (not to mention the risk to my loved ones if I were to die). If I think I’m a really good shot, that doesn’t make it okay to shoot into a crowd, even if I don’t hit anyone.

Similarly, if there is evidence, as you suggest, that swinging has a general negative effect on your children, that makes a good argument that risking the well-being of your children is morally reprehensible, even if they turn out okay in a specific case.

How do your kids even know you swing? I can just image the Push household:

“Okay, honey make sure you’re in bed by 8PM. Don’t forget to brush your teeth. Mom and I will be over at the special lodge fucking uncle Bert in case you need us.”

I’m not following the logic here.

I honestly have no idea what in the world you are talking about, and it is clear to me that you have no idea what I’m talking about.

Krok isn’t a lesbian?! Wow! Earthshaking news!!!

If that’s the level of discussion you think this is, then I’ve got nothing for ya.

Sheesh.
Does that not make him delusional? Maybe you disagree that being delusional is bad?

I’m very happy I pulled out of this discussion before it gathered steam. I’m all for agreeing to disagree but some posters (from various sides of various fences) are so smug with smugly self righteousness it makes me dry heave.

Nice. and the Marshall in the back is yours too?

Blues? Rock? Both lol?

If a female can make me stronger, then I’ll listen to them.
If a male can make me stronger, than I’ll listen to them.
If a Transgender can make me stronger, then I’ll listen to them.
I don’t need to get strength advice from a man, i guess I’ve got to get it from a woman. i don’t agree with this oprah bulshit, but if matt wants to be a woman, than I’m all ears…

Nah, the Marshall was just standing around. I play a cheap Bogner. Rock, generally.

This is, IMO, a perfectly fine statement. There’s a difference between saying you disagree and calling someone mentally unhinged.

I don’t think anyone disagrees that Kroc is a stud and would read everything he wrote about lifting. I’d listen to Bruce Jenner about track & field, too.

But both are completely deluded men wearing dresses.

Though, admittedly, those delusions are relatively benign.

When they start spouting off about master races and the glorious revolution of the proletariate, this is when I get a bit concerned.

But you’re still viewing them from the confines of your own perspective.

When KillerDIRK earlier posted about seeing his middle-school aged reflection in women’s clothing, and how that felt more right, and being more at peace… now THAT sounds much more like the proper context from which to view their motivations.

Couldn’t agree more. I’ll take legions of transgender people over the latter every single day of the week and three times on Sunday.
