Masters for a Copper

The logical conclusion looks like this though…

Ah, all that passion and discipline, wasted to travel at warp-speed in the wrong direction…

No you can’t be as smart as me. Ask around.

And at the very least I can say that I am not Canadian. Especially if you are a representative citizen.

I think you could get your ass kicked for being such a pussy if you were from Texas.
I can’t be as smart as you because I don’t come into a thread and start insulting the posters that don’t share your viewpoint. How about goin back to the religous and political forums where you spend all your time running your mouth, since ypu don’t seem to spend much if any time time in the Bodybulding parts of a Bodybulding website.

Your personal bullshit juvenile attacks launched from behind your keyboard are really impressive…

If you want to know how Canadians are viewed why don’t you ask some of your countyrmen that sew Canadian flags on their clothing when they travel outside the US… Yeah check with the travel agencies that offer “Canadian Packages” to tourists… Hey here’s an idea, why not pose this question to George St. Pierre, he may have an answer for you. He like most Canadians are pussies.

Thank fuck I’m not as “smart” as you.

Fuck these goddamned canadians and austrians that have IQ’s slightly lower than their shoe size. How hard is it to understand that the law is to card? How else does one enforce this law without sending in undercover folks to have it tested? Fucking foreign damn morons.

You are 19 and getting a college degree, and lookiing to add another in the next year or so. Kudo’s.

I know! That is rather impressive. It’s also why I really want to like this guy. A motived guy like Fife with his priorities a little more in line could be a great asset to his country.

Whats wrong with his priorities. He wants to be a cop. Maybe his choice to be a carding investigator is a little off, but he has his shit together.

No - GSP isn’t an internet tough guy. You are.

Big difference.

You jumped all over the OP. I jumped all over you.

And just to correct your last statement: GSP is not a Canadian pussy like you.

See how thatworks? Learn to deal with it, and you may be able to have a productive life.

Who’s the internet tough guy, you came to the op’s defense, was I talking to you? Guess the the guy you’re talking about wasn’t man enough to defend himself. Must make him a pussy too as needs big bad Rainjack to defend him.

How about calling everyone else a pussy and moron? Oh wait, you’ve done that on a continuos basis. You’re so witty, bet you were the class clown with all your clever quips.

You’re right I forgot that having balls and being smart is measured in ones’ ability to call people pussy on a internet forum. You must be one of the smartest and manly guys to ever visit here. If the abilty to spew bullshit and bigoted crap is a measure of IQ, you are the smartest guy here by far.

Thankfully most Americans on here and ones I’ve met aren’t represented by you. It’s geniuses like you that give Americans a bad and undeserved rep. It’s your way or the highway, right?

Like I said. go back to the religious and political forums, you’re not here to pursue anything bodybuilding related.

Although it has now become redundant, I wanted to throw in that Fife embodies everything that’s wrong with law enforcement. The fact that you, at 19, drop continous references to an ABC clerk selling to “little johnny” is pretty ridiculous, and also an insightful look at your personality.

Perhaps you should have considered that the only “little johnnys” you are protecting are those exactly like yourself (appearing older, one would quite literally have to look very similar to you in order to receive a sale, no?). Do you consider yourself too immature to handle alcohol?
Bullmoose wrote:
When the store managers were licensed to sell alcohol in the first place, they agreed to check ID. So, basically, they should have implemented that policy in the first place. There’s no reason that should create discord between customers and employees.
The discord is created between the store and those of us who are above legal age, since we object to being treated like children. This past Super Bowl Sunday I tried to buy a 12-pack of Yuengling and the clerk asked for a second form of identification. He and the store manager wouldn’t accept my credit card, or my concealed carry permit, so I finally had to show my voter registration card. Four forms of identification just to buy some weak beer. The response I got to my customer complaint was so mealy-mouthed that I no longer shop at Giant.

Some grocery chains don’t trust their cashiers, and force them to enter the DOB from the driver’s license when selling alcohol. That really burns me, as they have absolutely no right to try to enter my personal data into their computers without my consent.

You’re setting up a straw man. If the only just laws that can be enforced are those which are unanimously agreed upon, there are two logical conclusions (and maybe more that I’m not seeing):

 1. Governing units must decrease in size (no huge cities, states, and nations)

 2. Governing units must decrease their scope of governance (and not try to regulate and tax everything under the sun.)

Just because someone doesn’t consider himself too immature to handle alcohol doesn’t mean that he isn’t. And some places around here would sell beer to a 14-year-old, so it’s not always just older-looking kids.

I know for a fact that in terms of smokes, youre allowed to have them on you and smoke them right infront of a cop if you want, they can’t do nothing about that. Well I dont know, maybe cops in Canada just dont give a shit about such petty things. Alcohols a different story though, like if youre drinking at youre house then I think only the people responsible for you would get in trouble but youre not allowed to walk down the street chugging a 40 of smirnoff, thats for sure.
And yes I am smart. Watever I dont know you may be right, I may be right, I’m just saying this from the experiences I’ve had with cops, especially since my moms boyfriend is a cop.

That’s actually a good point which I am kicking myself for failing to notice. This does show a pretty heavy insight to another messed up part with law enforcement. The whole “little johnny” thing shows a distinct “us [police] vs. them [the citizenry]” attitude.

Long gone is the idea of “to protect and serve”. Now it’s “click it or ticket” and comercials with tough guy announcers letting us know that “we will get you”.

It would do ALL government employees well to realize that theoretically the only reason they even have a job is because the citizens allow it. I doubt this to be the reality anymore, but I may be just a little too cynical in that regard.

Mike

And to that dumbass that made this a U.S.A. versus Canada and Austria thread youre a turd. You cant judge a whole country based on a couple peoples posts, see if people did that I’d think everyone from the U.S.A especially from Texas whas a deusche bag, but i know thats not true, youre just one of the few and proud deusche bags on this forum.

That’s a bunch of bullshit, but it isn’t the fault of guys like Fife, or of the law. At least where I grew up, as long as you showed some ID, even if it was fake, the store/bar was off the hook, and only you could be charged. So either,
a)your laws are indeed ridiculous, and you’re right to be pissed off, or
b)the people who run stores where you live are dicks, and you’re right to be pissed off.

Either way, even though you shouldn’t have to be forced to put up all that shit, the establishment agreed to ID everybody who could possibly be underage, so Fife’s stinging, or snitching, if you want to call it that, isn’t unfair.
So when somebody doesn’t agree that we shouldn’t be allowed to fuck kids, or that we can’t bust through somebody’s window and take whatever we want, then that’s because those laws are unjust?

Neither of those things deals with the fact that laws don’t apply to people who don’t agree with them, under this system. As for my straw man, I’m sure the NAMBLA wankers would never vote in a law that 8 year olds aren’t sexually and emotionally mature, so they can’t make those kinds of decisions. You’re right that I made up the part about B&E, but if unanimity is required, it only takes one jackass who’s sure that he can protect his own shit, while stealing other people’s and the law doesn’t get passed.

My point was basically that we don’t all share the same values or morals, which is why we need a global decision-making process. The majority is the closest thing to just that we have.

Easy big fella. I thought it was a funny joke, and I didn’t mean any harm. You took that pretty offensively. I know that english policemen don’t carry guns, so I wasn’t sure about canada’s. Take kidding a little easier, ok.

Well barney it didn’t come across that way and if you had bothered to look at what was being referenced, rainjacks bs, then you might have thought to include something to indicate that. The bash/blame Canada crap is old and tired. Just as the dumb southerner line.

Please tell me youre joking, you didnt know if Canadian cops carried guns? This threads realy offtopic man. BTW Canada has the best beer.

After five pages of attacks on Fife, let me throw my hat into the ring in support of him and his LE career. If you are interested in Federal Service, the Border Patrol might be a good place to start. After a few years with that agency it is easier to transfer laterally into another organization like the Marshalls (which can be a high-speed job) or other Federal LE jobs. The main degrees that the FBI looks for are accounting, law and possibly a language degree.

As far as the attacks on LE…have you ever worn the badge? It is really easy to critize the men and women in blue without knowing how hard their job is. I have been a cop for seven years and every night before work I kiss my wife and kids for possibly the last time. I could be shot for something as stupid as pulling someone over for a seat belt violation. We also deal violent, abusive and disrespectful people constantly and they are usually on some drug or alcohol. I can’t tell you how many people I have pulled out of house and car in various states of death and decomposition. That kind of stuff changes you and you can’t just go home and forget it.

Additionally, I am sorry if you have had a bad experience with a police officer or you mistrust the police. Like all proffessions there are some that don’t need to wear the badge. However, a lot of bad encounters are due to a poor attitude on the part of the citizen. Attitude is everything. Hopefully, when you need one, a good cop will be there.

Give’em hell Fife. I wish I could go back and go the Federal route. I wish you the best of luck.

I honestly didn’t know if canadian cops carried guns. English cops don’t, and canada is still heavily affiliated with england. Sorry for my ignorance.
