Massive Eating Reloaded

Hey! I just posted on the discussion forum for John Berardi’s article on Massive Eating Reloaded. Could I have some of the other experts here answer my queries as well? No disrespect to Dr. Berardi, I think he rocks when it comes to nutrition!

He rarely posts here anymore as he owns the Precision Nutrition place now.

In regards to your questions:

a) Instead of Surge use whatever you normally do post workout.

b) Whatever nuts catch your fancy enjoy em

c) Cereal is MEANT to be sugary :stuck_out_tongue: Thats why its post workout

d) Im sure mixing up beans isnt go to throw the galaxy out of whack to be honest :stuck_out_tongue:

e) As much as you can handle no upper limit, just get your protein down 1st.

In closing, don’t get drowned in the if buts and ands, just eat enough to grow and you will do fine.

Worrying about if this nut is better than that is just over complicating things far to much.

Meant to be FUN

300andabove has it covered.

one difference between walnuts and almonds though is that walnuts have more omega3s. if you take your fish oil properly then u shouldnt have to worry about the diff.

Thanks 300andabove and dexslave for the advice. My biggest concerns were the during and post-workout meals. I normally had my protein shake (protein powder+fruit+non-fat milk) but now I’m using the protein powder in other meals. As I mentioned, I have issues with spending too much money on protein shakes and in order to make up for Surge with my regular protein shake, I’d have to consume 3 times as much of the supplement.

Any suggestions?

Well eat more whole food after if you cant afford the whey

There are ALOT of pro’s/semi pro’s that dont consume a post workout shake, pre workout is infinately more important.

Just eat some food afterwards.

As i said, there is no 100% set in granite way of doing things, shape it to your liking it is afterall YOUR body not some authors :stuck_out_tongue:
