Mass Building, How Fat is Too Fat?

Im currently in a mass building stage, I started at about 238 and am currently 257. I gained this weight in about 6 weeks. I eat a tremendous amount of carbs and protein and a good amount of fat. My question is, it seems like my fat is getting out of control? I thought about maybe using HOT-ROX extreme but didnt know if that would make me lose to much weight.

Should i cut some of the fat intake in my diet? i have to eat 5000 to 6000 cals a day to get bigger. I lift heavy 4 days a week. Any suggestions will help.

Don’t cut the fat. Cut the carbs. That is a tremendous amount of weight gain in 6 weeks. What does your current training look like and give us a sample day in meals.

It would help to know how many of each macros you are getting a day, 19 lbs. in six weeks is a shitload. I definitely wouldn’t do HOT-ROX, you just need to lower your calories. Cut back to 4-4.5k calories, lowering mostly carbs.

What’s your bodyfat?

Breakfast- 6 eggs on wheat toast and complete Metabolic Drive shake

Brunch- Bowl of Pasta and Grow! Whey Protein Shake

Lunch- Two Hamburger patties and Bowl of Pasta. (Usually mixed together…Sooo good)

Linner- Usually Ham or turkey Sandwich, Maccaroni and Cheese and protein shake

WORKOUT

Dinner. Pasta, macaroni in cheese, 2 hamburger patties, Protein Shake.

In between meals im constantly eating nuts and fruit. This isnt including supplements
which are Surge, Surge Recovery during workouts

Last time i got tested i was 14% but i think i have to be getting close to 20% now, its like i have a slab of fat over all my muscles. alot of abdominal fat.

Cut out the snacking bt. meals, nuts are very calorie dense. You probably don’t need that many protein shakes either, it sounds like you have plenty of protein in your diet. Keep them around your workout IMO.

I also agree on too many protein shakes. I would drop the shake to only at workout time and keep eat real, solid foods the rest of your day.

Drop the shakes at every meal and see how that works. No need for that many

After seeing that diet, I think you’re eating too much fat.

4 hamburger patties, mac and cheese twice a day, 6 eggs, and constantly eating nuts? I mean you could easily be putting down 200g+ of fat a day lol. Some fat is good, but you can have too much of a good thing.

I’d drop the pasta from meal #3, drop fat intake by about 40-50g a day (I’m thinking “Dinner” would be a fine time to drop the fatty meat) and see what happens. If you gained 19 honest pounds, that’s a like a 1,500 caloric surplus a day. I’d drop that by ~600-700 and see what happens.

He’s eating PASTA or BREAD at every single meal (six times a day). Keep the protein shakes and swap some of the pasta feeds for a huge salad or a huge bowl of broccoli instead, or other fibrous carbs like caulflower. If you’re still getting fatter after that, lose the pasta completely.

How much pasta are you eating, anyway? I bet it’s over a pound of dry pasta.
