Masch Needs a New Log

Hi Maschy! Look at you being all awesome and stuff over here. Running and oly! Even if the knee was a little cranky, you are BACK! I have to go look for pictures now…

Thanks for the advice spooky and maschy.

Wow Maschy, with that program I dont think you gave to worry about your bum getting big! You have a bit of volume in your program, are you sure your not overdoing it? Do you do aquarobics in a bikini? Are you taking fish oil and curcumin?

The main thing I can not do is lunge and run. Ive taken 3 weeks totally off to try make sure I dont make things worse, but thats killing me, and Im going to start some sort of training soon. Maybe try my bike.

Maschy, my log is closed for this part of off-season. Given that I recover from this injury look out for: “the bird cage version 2.0; Aviar dreams”. More pictures, more videos, more heavy ass weight. Coming to T-natiom soon.

haha. vids of aquarobics would be great! i’m kinda missing bodybalance class…
sorry to hear that your oly lifting class was a bit much… does sound pretty full on, though.
i hear your pain about partial lifts and partial squats :frowning:
still… you will come back better and stronger than ever, i’m sure.

Hey Maschy i like the rotation. Some great variety and plenty of time for your knee to recover between workouts! Awesome!

woot on the running Maschy!!!

you overdid the workouts (like we all would have I’m sure). Now find the balance. The rest of this PT will be red velvet cake.

And I saw the pics gorgeous and I didn’t rant and rave because people already think I’m a perve.
But I’d still ravage it, especially covered in cake and champagne. I’d eat enough for the both of us

be patient. stay strong.

xx

oh haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiii!

I actually hate maschy personally

She makes me feel all weird n stuff

Hi Rocky…

Anyways…

what I was going to say is that next week I start the last rotation of the cycle, so I’m going to try to get some numbers up. Obvi nothing spectacular. But at least a baseline of sorts.

I really like the box squats and I want to hit 225 with those. I think its doable at the end of the next cycle. By then I’ll also be able to start going below parallel on the squats. And then its back to the beginning. Yay me!

I’m seeing the surgeon on Monday and I’m going to ask him about going below parallel. I think he’ll be cool with it. I personally think I’m ready to start doing some body weight exercise. Nothing crazy, just with the broomstick and do some OH squats. We shall see.

Hai Greg!!

Mainy, A night with you, cake and champagne would be absolutely decadent

Thanks German! And thank you for the idea!

Lex, the aquaarobics is pretty fun. And you know its pretty challenging if you want it to be. Its as hard as you make it, no?

And its funny you say “you come back stronger and better” - I was just actually thinking about this. Athletes that return to sport after an injury aren’t really stronger and better, its just that they got to correct imbalances during their recovery. So I guess that’s a plus no? The only thing is I have so much to correct!

Bird, thank you! You’d think I’d be trimmer though given my activity level, but no. I’m a big eater. Altho for the most part clean. Yes! definitely try the bike! You can give yourself quite the little workout with sprints. I do 1 min on 1 min off, and the sprint is on a challenging resistance. Sometimes I even do a standing climb at a higher resistance for a min after the sprint, There’s a lot you can do.

Kimba! I’m so happy to see you! You’re kitty is so beautiful. Thanks! I’m happy its coming along.

Lol! Busy, that bike is awesome! I totally used one of those before. And like you told me, don’t push it. You’ll get on that bike soon enough.

Oh! And one more thing. Benching? Yeah. I really don’t like it. What else can I do instead of bench? Maybe I’ll do an “Oly” night and get rid of bench and keep pullups…yeah…that’s the ticket!

Goodnight all!

Yes! Mods! You rock

Edit: oh and HOLA!

you have the BEST taste. screw benching! my personal favs are pushpreses, not equivalent but macho and upper body enough for my taste.

I got a little dizzy looking at your training schedule, or maybe it was your pic, not sure, but I’m definitely dizzy now. You might need a personal assistant, I’m sure you could easily find some volunteers.

Morning!

Do pushups with added weight on your back (chains, plate, midgets). And you can vary your hand position from wide (more chesticles) to narrow (more triceratops). Feet elevated is more upper chest and shoulders.

Good for your upper body and you get some indirect core work since you are in a plank position.

Chain pushups…in a bikini!!

I think I just hurt myself.

I like your training layout

did I read right?
you are running- and some o-lifting?

great progress you have to take it one day/session etc at a time.
things are looking well- did I also read right you had a birthday- or am I tripping

Your PT guy sounds like some of my past PT types-

I stopped flat benching until recently with the meet coming up, I didnt miss it either because of the discomfort issues so I switched to Incline for a good 3 months, I loved the inclines give’em a try.
