your box squats looked picture perfect to me. i’m amazed at how terrific your hammies and ass is considering your injury rehab. i train most days and mine still don’t look anywhere near as great! your legs will come back stronger and more stable than they have ever been, i’m sure.

Hi Everybody!!!
I had to come in here and tell you all that tonight I took my first spin class since my injury! It was kinda emotional, really. And on Monday at PT I got to do agility work! Lateral shuffle and some steppy things. I don’t know, I’m just so happy to be able to move again!
Its still a total mind fuck, but its a mind fuck of a different sort. Now I feel strong, but I don’t know when to push and when to pull back. For ex, I box squated 135 for 8 and I knew I could do more but I didn’t want to push it. Same with my OH squats.
I will admit, I’m still wobbly and I should def concentrate on the unilateral work. I tried lunges, but they’re still awkies. I never could lunge, and I never did. Except for the BSS, which I’ve always loved. I did some the other day using a clean grip (i was being lazy) and then did with 30dbs and that rocked! I only did 6 reps, but my ass was straining! Awesome.
Anywho, here’s a vid!
You can’t see the weights, but its 65. You also can’t see that I’m still pretty shakey on my right leg. But I will say, not too shabby, no?
I’m going to start going back to Oly in a week or so. I want to see my buddies! Plus I can do muscle snatches and muscle cleans. I also have been doing hang cleans (don’t tell my PT lady!) and they feel fine. I’ll keep weight light and just focus on form for a bit. I’m ok with that ![]()
Ok, well, I think that’s it, really. Lots of good stuff! But I have to be mindful that I am still recouperating.

Slow and Steady yo, I actually did unitlateral work for the first time in my life last week and it was quite the humbling experience felt like a drunken retard tryin to lift weights, and on top of that my foot was killing me for two days, im such a pussy.
