Tie a bowline knot (there are a few others) but its easy to untie when tension is removed.
Also, Use the cary handle from your gymbag/dufflebag as a dip belt. Many are padded and they can typically support 30-50 lbs. I’ve used mine to support 90lbs (has metal clips).
