I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sub 30 minute workout from you in my life…have you started Crossfit?

all my workouts take 1hr 30 to 2 hours… i’m like a sloth. how do you have such short sessions Lol?

In this instance, it was short because I wasn’t doing anything apart from getting a pump in my back.

I aim for under an hour and a half, and hopefully now that the hypertrophy phase is done I’ll be able to stick better to that. Very rarely I can get it done in about an hour.

I had a proud moment today at work when I felt the step ladder I was on start flexing. No more rated to 120 kg ladders for me…

Just make sure you don’t bend somebody else’s ladder…
I’d go the industrial rated ones, good luck bending them.

It’s the National Museum’s ladder, but I got off as soon as I felt it. I’ll bring my my own one in tomorrow.

Woke at 258.2 lbs, looking less bloated. Appetite was off yesterday, and so far feels a bit similar today. Just got to stay above 258 lbs.

How you feeling generally? When I was hovering near a ladder busting 120kg, I felt strong, was doing a shit ton of walking and sled pulls etc, but the extra fat made me huff and puff like a motherfucker.

I huff and puff a fair bit if I run or something silly like that but nothing terrible. My resting heart rate is in the 60s so not brilliant but ok.

I think I may be coming down with a lurgy. National Museum staff are offended by tradespeople so we have to have lunch outside and it isn’t super warm.

I’m noticing that the reduced upper back frequency during the hypertrophy phase left me a tad stiff in the shoulders. Looking forward to some kind of row three to four times a week.

Todays training

Band Y raises
3 sets, no counting just go till it burns then a few more

Chest supported RDFs
3 sets with 22 lbs, same deal no counting

Chaos bench (or whatever the fuck it’s called when you hang kbs off bands off the sleeves)
Worked up to some at 132 lbs

Not sure what the fuss is about. Didn’t have to set up tighter, the bar just moved around more. Zero out of 10 would not recommend.

Lat pulldowns
Drop set starting at 120 lbs dropping 20 lbs every time till last 20 lbs plate is left then when I realised failure would take a long, long time with 20 lbs stopped

All up maybe a half hour

I hate it when that happens.

Woke at 256.6 lbs, looking similar to the last few days. Feeling a bit better for a longer sleep but definitely crook. I’m going with dehydration for the scale drop.

Kept feeling better throughout the day. Going to bed soon and feeling ok considering. Another decent sleep should fix this.
