That’s the beauty of the LIKE button. You can be supportive even on bad days.
I actually enjoy the personal things more. I like when people share their other activities and thoughts.
Mark’s log has always been full of self reflection and I like that. I guess it makes this internet world seem a little more human. This log and @littlesleeper’s were the first two logs I ever viewed. I still have them bookmarked.
Well, my head is stuffed with concrete and I’m halfway deaf in my left ear. Whether or not I actually do my light day today is going to depend on how I feel when I’m under the bar. Nothing below the neck feels bad at all, so there’s no reason for me not to train but given I’m six days out I’m going to be super cautious.
Did my rehab stuff: the drills and the stretching. Also some air squats when I got out of bed. Congestion has cleared up a bunch and I feel almost entirely back to normal. Glad I stayed home today though.
Decided to take some fatsique shots too. I’m surprised how steadily my weight stays around the 250 lbs mark with what I have to admit is a relatively lackadaisical approach to diet right now. I mean, I still rarely eat what is traditionally considered junk, but I’m not exactly leaving the whole foods section at the shops empty. Still focusing on getting a lot of carbs and leaving fat as the smallest proportion of total calories, but I’m more willing to let some fats pass (mostly peanut butter, and some cheese and milk).
Anyway, here’s 250-odd pounds of cranky meat after six weeks of very low volume training.
