Mark Wahlberg Protein

I just read his wiki bio and I think he should find that person he blinded and do anything he can for them. I think its stupid that a person so rotten can be so famous. I don’t care if he paid or he turn a “new page”. He owes.

Wahlberg has stated : “I did a lot of things that I regretted and I have certainly paid for my mistakes.” He said the right thing to do would be to try to find the blinded man and make amends, and admitted he hasn’t done so, but added that he was no longer burdened by guilt : “You have to go and ask for forgiveness and it wasn’t until I really started doing good and doing right, by other people as well as myself, that I really started to feel that guilt go away. So I don’t have a problem going to sleep at night. I feel good when I wake up in the morning.”

So to him, GUILT is the catalyst for making amends? Not feeling guilt = not accountable?

I can’t believe I actually liked this fucker.
No more.

Yes he was. And as a Christian, I believe in forgiveness.

But he has the ability to help out the guy whose eyes he destroyed, but admitted that since he no longer harbors guilt, he’s free of the obligation.

Ridding one’s self of guilt is great, but has he at least gone to his victim to ask for forgiveness?

This is where I have a problem with him.

I ran in bad circles but I never blinded people or perm fucked anyone up. I am also not famous with millions. He also has the ability to make the life of that person he messed up better. Which I would have life long remorse and guilt over if I was in his place. Which he states he doesn’t.
All this to me makes him a piece of shit.

I dont disagree, however I would not really take Wiki as the greatest source of information.

He has a charity and how we know he hasnt really done anything through there?

We also don’t know that there hasn’t been some kind of settlement. I think that’s the most likely scenario.

Yea for sure to show that he is remorseful for his past, plus I am sure he probably does a ton of shit that he does not want PR for. This looks like one of those things that as you get older you are remorseful and truly embarrassed for what you did.

Or he could be a total self centered racist prick.

Who knows.

I don’t think If he was truly racist that he would’ve embodied a form of music laden heavy with black culture, and continued to work in Hollywood with many minority actors including a big black/samoan guy. I believe he was wrong and strong, and ignorant…like a lot of teenagers. I do not believe that sentiment prevailed as he gained popularity through his modeling, music and acting.

I do think he turned over a new leaf and realized how incredible stupid he was as he himself has explained. And this is coming from a black guy.

Lol, kind of the way I see it myself, but again how do we know Hollywood is the land of fucking crazy people.

I dont know man, I have never heard this story about him until this thread. And it seems like a bunch in here didnt know about it either so I doubt they were pushing for that. If anything it has been pushed more to keep under the radar.

Yeah… just like that non black guy who ‘‘loves’’ black culture, hangs out with blacks, and fucks black women, and yet, call them dirty monkeys behind their backs and denigrates black males whenever he feels like doing it.

Or just just like Mel Crazy bitch Gibby, who’d co-starred with Danny Glover in Lethal Weapon 1 to 100, but, one day, angrily told his ex girl over the phone, he wishes she’ll get gangraped by a bunch of N*****

Yeah, Brotha, I hear ya.

Lol.

So this is how that works?

I have been doing it all wrong then.

I honestly believed that it was for the victim to forgive…

And, in order to be able to live with yourself you try to right your wrongs…

Apparently I can short circuit all of this by forgiving myself…

Well, thats so much easier, thank you for posting this!

In the bodybuilding forum, we learned women with big round asses are just filled with fat.

LOL

I saw Roelly’s shredded ass in the 2012 Olympia thread and I was so jelly. I thought, ''damn, I’ll kill for an ass like that. Lol. ‘’

Have you been living on Mars?

There’s a whole franchise -I forgot the name- grown around that idea:
you don’t even have to be able to look in the mirror and forgive yourself, you basically just tell one creepy dude what’s happened, anything really, and HE forgives you by proxy of some guy in Afghanistan or so who invented this. That guy is no longer alive but apparently they all just keep on acting as if he still is because it’s mighty practical.

The Cuthulhic Smurf, I think.

So negatives outweigh positives? We are all fucked then. You’ve made racist comments and so have most black people.
