Not gona post links etc. but just thought it was interesting that Mark Wahlberg is now selling his own supplement line and training plans.
“I am excited to join forces with GNC, a brand I trust for quality and integrity.”
LOL sure Marky Mark.
I know lots of woman that would love some Mark W protein.
The matt damon scene from team america seems relevant now.

Everyone’s hawking something.

Yep. Even Hawking’s hawking.

nah, I’d buy Dwayne Johnson whey
Yeah! Why doesn’t The Rock have an exercise book out or something like that?

I want to know how he went from pipsqueak to Popeye as seen here.
He’s smart in that he knows that ‘his’ brand wouldn’t sell to the hardcore, fitness/bodybuilding crowd, but that by being a recognized actor, he is going to have housewives and older/middleaged desk jockies targeted.
Also, can’t fault the guy for being able to cash in on his love of training. Heck, I’ll be hitting the weights until the day I die, and if someone approached me to use my name on a jug o’ protein for some cash in my pocket, I’d jump too.

if we’re talking about it seriously, it doesn’t make sense for a person like him to be investing time and money into something. so painfully vanilla as a supplement line. The return on investment should be subpar to the return on investment opportunities for people of his wealth and network.
The only reasons I can see he did this is a) the returns he’s expecting are greater than I’m contemplating because the initial costs are low (might make sense when you think about all he’s really doing - lending his name. it’s unlikely he’s actually set up a company somewhere in the supply chain) and/or b) he has some kind of genuine interest in cementing nutrition and the fitness lifestyle into the mainstream.

Hey Stallone has been doin it for a few years now.
How cutting edge can you make whey protein these days anyway, maybe there is some molecules of his jizz init that makes it so potent, or its proly a few sprinkles of that x-factor we’re all seeking??? Anyway I wouldnt buy the stuff but someone sure as hell will so if theres a market then why not. Mark Whalberg seems like a decent enough fella and he’s a business man after all so more power to him. Im sure a few kids will fall for the marketing and hype but what the hey’ they’ll live and learn like the rest of us…

Since he’s older, I’m sure he has to take some special “supps”.
But when he was in WWF he was at least 275 and then when he did a few movies for Disney, they wanted him smaller, so he dropped to around 225.
He said he started gaining his muscle back when he did Faster and went back to WWE. He was pretty big for Fast Five.
And having Black and Samoan genetics seem good for size.

Basically. It’s pretty much a fact that if you have muscles, they look bigger in a tank top.
He probably got caught right after pumping up for that movie he is in With Wahlberg also.
