Marijuana Withdrawal

South Park. Episode 607 Simpsons already did it.

Atleast that’s where I got it from. And shit, I actually just knew that from the top of my head…

take ur damn french ass out of this thread. your OPINIONS are irrelevant.

wow. grow the hell up. he asked for advice to get over the withdrawals, not your BS opinions on whether it exists or not.

Since i quit smoking I’ve experienced many of the same symptoms the OP mentioned and i wasn’t even aware of their existence until i was miserable for no damn reason. coincidentally the only thing that changed in my life at that time was the weed… what the hell else could it have been. i went to my doctor and what do you know… she confirmed that it was common. when i quit i was on medication as well, and it no longer helped. so now… I’m in moods worse than what i went through as a hormonal teenager. therefore, i wouldn’t make dumbass comments if i only weighed 150lbs at 5’10".

I don’t believe I commented on the existence of Marijuana withdrawal symptoms, and if my opinions are irrelevant, then so are yours.

Also, strangely, my current weight has no bearing on my comments, nor has it ever. But that hurts, brother.

Oh, and I’m not French.
I would ignore this post Vicomte, to keep the discussion somewhat intelligent and on track. Unless its already settled, then you two can exchange personal insults that have nothing to do with the previously mentioned discussion.

If MJ withdrawal exists it exists on an individual basis. So, if you feel it, obviously it exists for you.

Personally im lucky. I never suffered withdrawal but then again my reasons for using it were very cerebral and less recreational. But it can be argued that being cerebral was recreational to me.

The reason MJ is so hard to pin down, is because everyone experiences it differently.

I find Biotests Z-12 incredibly useful in falling asleep. It is very calming, relaxing and enhances my mood in a positive way. I also wake up feeling great and rested. I think it could really help with your withdrawal symptoms and getting to sleep.

One of my favorite combos for deep sleep is three Z-12 caps and one ZMA cap. Happy deep slumber awaits. Notice some longtime heavy ganja users will experience physical withdrawal symptoms for a couple days up to a week or so. Lots of cardio can help diminish any withdrawal nastiness.

I smoked weed for 7 years and the past 5 years almost every single day. Usually multiple times per day. I never had withdrawals when I quit and that was 3 months ago. You just hate being sober, don’t blame it on the weed. Punk.
Yup

Been a week everything is pretty much better. Did lose 11 lbs though.

Thanks for the advice. I def plan on picking up some Z-12 to use on some of the nights its harder to get to sleep. Just gotta pay all my bills first though.

Jdarkraget- The only relevant thing is that you got through it. Anchor in the memory, and you never have to fear going without. Great job.
Beefcurtains

I stopped smoking weed a little over a year ago. When I first started smoking it was my favorite thing to do in the whole wide world. For 2 solid years, all I did was smoke weed and watch Lakers games. What a great run that was.

Shit eventually hit the fan in the form of raging, out of control paranoia, which was the main catalyst for me quitting. It just wasn’t fun anymore.

But, goddamn, not a day goes by where I wish I could just go back to the good ole’ days where I could smoke some dank, and just chill out, listen to music, watch a movie, or hang out with friends. It feels like there is something missing in my life with out Mary Jane. All the other vices I’ve tested out never quite measured up to smokin herb.

Sorry, but this is the dumbest damn thread I’ve ever read. I’ve been smoking for about six years now, the last three heavy, the last one and a half EXTREMELY heavy (at least once a day, every day, usually keeping it under 5 times.)

I recently stopped - and you know what happened?

Nothing! I was less high all the time.

Sounds like your mental dependence of marijuana is transcending into your physical lamentations - because there is no physical addiction. At all.

For sleep? Try melatonin. Marijuana releases plenty of it as well - so it’d be a smooth cross over.
This isn’t a dumb thread. Go ahead and google “marijuana withdrawal” It doesn’t affect everyone. Its well studied and documented.

I just stopped last Saturday. It wasn’t too hard. In fact I still have plenty sitting around (I have a script for it). For the life of me I couldn’t figure out what was a matter. I was so concerned I thought I might need to have a check up at the docs (blood work) so I did a little online research. Sure enough I have most the symptoms of marijuana withdrawal. I normally eat like a pig but for the past few days, I’ve have the appetite of a whore on meth. Add to that irritability, restlessness, insomnia, depression.

I’ve quit before and not noticed anything but the past 2 times I stopped, I experienced many of the symptoms. A little xanax has helped with sleep and anxiety. I took 1mg today and yesterday in morning. I wouldn’t mind one now too but I can cope.

Please don’t get me wrong. I support your right to smoke weed. These symptoms aren’t that bad compared to other things but they do exist.
