In all seriousness, based on my own experiences before I got sober and entered a 12-step program a couple years ago, weed will just destroy your motivation to lift. Also, in my case it made me extremely anti-social and heavily exacerbated what was otherwise an almost dormant, miniscule tendency toward social anxiety. I could talk with women and spit some game just fine. But it was getting up the balls and the motivation to approach women at bars in the first place after I had just smoked an 1/8 to my face that was really hard. Once I was in the door I was fine, but getting that foot in the door was very hard for me.
As for alcohol, first of it is a drug, so you’ve already done a drug(s). Booze will definitely fuck up your body composition in and of itself, especially if you have a tendency to drink like I did, which is to say that I usually drank until I passed out. Actually, according to my friends, I had the uncanny ability to continue drinking WHILE passed out. I would be passed out with a beer in my hand, wake up enough to take a sip, then pass right back out again. I was known to drink at least a six-pack like this as long as my friends kept putting beer in my hand.
In regards to other drugs:
ecstasy-not my favorite drug. Just didn’t float my boat so I can’t offer much of an opinion on that
mushrooms and/or acid-again, in my case, not the best drug to take when planning on going out to a club. Too many things going on inside my head to deal with women in a way that lent itself to getting laid on a regular basis. Regular use can definitely destroy your motivation to lift, although you’ll find yourself hiking a lot more often. Perhaps an appropriate drug to use when trying to incorporate more cardio into your workouts. The effect on your body composition should be minimal, if anything
crystal meth-great for cutting weight, but not for anything else. although I will say that I’ve noticed a tendency for women to get extremely horny when smoking it. But using this drug will assuredly put you into contact with some unsavory people, women included.
heroin-never tried this one, but it can’t be anything but detrimental to your chances of getting laid. Nodding off at random times and mumbling about some pirate ship on the horizon isn’t very attractive to women
amyl nitrites-great before an attempt at a PR, especially if you don’t mind shitting yourself in the middle of a heavy set of squats.
vicodine, percoset (spelling?) and similar drugs-not good for getting laid or for body composition
cocaine-I hate to say it, but this may just be the perfect drug for you. It doesn’t carry the same negative stigma that crystal meth does, won’t put you into contact with snaggle-toothed radiation victims like crystal meth will, and it’s much easier to function as a normal member of society in the short-term. Because the immediate effect lasts much shorter than crystal, you can fully dedicate yourself to a good old-fashioned coke binge and still find time to lift. Also, women seem to view this drug with less of a negative stigma attached to it than any of the others above.
